WE ARE HIRING!!

Holt Animal Clinic is looking to add another full-time team member to our staff. We are looking for an independent, hard-working, dependable individual with the ability to perform a wide array of duties in support of the success of our clinic, while learning new things quickly. Applicants must be available to work 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and EVERY Saturday from 8:00am – 1:00pm.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1+ years working in Veterinary office
- Comfortable working around all kinds of animals
- The ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced
environment.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign in process which can include confirming the reason for the appointment, weighing pets and escorting the client to the exam room with their pet.
- Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology and pet behavior.
- Assist in cleanliness and maintenance of the hospital to ensure a great client experience.
- Provide assistance to our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarian.
- Perform daily cleaning of kennels, cages and public areas when necessary.
- Display animal-handling skills safely and humanely.
- Responsible for filling prescriptions written by Veterinarian.
- Preform laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
- Provide compassionate care and a home-away-from-home for boarded and hospitalized pets.

Also, this is Pet Appreciation Week! This is a time to celebrate all of the wonderful pets that we have in our lives. Pets bring us so much joy, and they are always there for us when we need them. They are loyal and true friends, and we appreciate them more than words can say.

Show your pet some extra love by buying them a new toy to play with. Show your pet how much you appreciate them by spending some quality time together. Go for a walk with your pet, play a game of fetch or just cuddle on the couch. They’ll love the attention! Make sure your pet is up to date on all their vaccinations and checkups by scheduling a vet visit.

They’ll appreciate the thoughtfulness and you’ll get to see them enjoy themselves with all the extra attention. It’s a win-win!

UPDATE: PORTER HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🛎🛎🛎🛎He was ADOPTED by one of our wonderful clients. We are sooooo excited to know that he has a wonderful family and we will be watching him grow. 🤗🤗🤗 Up for ADOPTION: We have fallen in love with Porter!! The video shows his silly personality. This little guy will bring a smile to anyone’s face. He even loves the Dr, that never happens. Help us find the perfect home for sweet, Porter!!

UPDATE: DOLLY has been adopted!! Woo hoo!!!! Where are my terrier lovers?? These 2 are ready to be adopted!! There is a $75 adoption fee that includes, spay/neuter, Rabies vaccination, Distemper/parvo vaccination, fecal exam and wormer, Heartworm tested, and a Nexgard. Dolly: female, black and white, about 1-2 years of age, and weighs 18 pounds. She is very sweet and would really like to be a lap dog. Porter: male, brown and white, about 8-10 months of age, and weighs 20 pounds. He is eager to please and loves to play.. We are here until 5:30 tonight and will be open from 8:30- noon on Saturday.

Ready for ADOPTION!! Sadly, these pups were not claimed by their owners. They are now officially up for adoption! They are about 7 months old, and about 25 pounds. The white one is a female and the brown one is a male. Their $75 adoption fee (each pup) covers Rabies, DA2P2, and spay/neuter. PLEASE help us find these 2 cuties a home!

UPDATE: Willie was ADOPTED 🤗 Meet Willie!! He has been at the clinic for over a month and has come a long way. As you can see Lenny has spent a lot of time with him and he is loving every minute of if. Willie is about a year old and has been neutered! He is now looking for his “furever” home! If you are looking for another family member, please come meet Willie!!

Meet Scruffy!! He is a terrier/mix, neutered, about 2 years old. Scruffy is a really good boy! He is doing great learning his basic commands, and is eager to learn more. This guy loves everyone, and is always ready for play time!! Call us or stop by to meet him!! 816-320-3726!
