Pinfeather nightmare going together tonight. There's a reason taxidermists don't want early birds. This was a personal bird I saved from a couple years ago to practice on. Knowing what I know now I would have tried to get one the last week of season.

It's been a while since I've shown my face on my taxidermy page.

A little bit of background about me, I grew up on a farm in central Minnesota and was in 4-H and FFA. I think my showing livestock helped develop my eye for anatomy and physiology.

I've been hunting since I was old enough, and convinced my dad to take me out as often as I could before I was old enough.

When I was a little kid I always said I was going to be a artist. I guess my taxidermy shop is a dream come true!

It's that time of year again! Please please please, cut the legs AT THE KNEES and the back BEHIND THE RIBS when you're skinning. I can always cut the extra off, but once it's gone it's gone.

Get a $50 credit towards a skull or antler mount if you bring me a cape in good condition with a 7 1/4"+ eye to nose measurement.

I will also be charging an additional $25 for deer that are cut all the way down the back of the necks. Please just tube the neck and cut through the spine and then twist it until it comes off.
