Actress Samantha Rose Baldwin was trying to get home in the Palisades fire to save her 10-year old cat. Traffic was at a standstill so she abandoned her car and ran for 15 minutes straight to get home.
She found her cat who was hiding, put her in a blanket, put her in a cat backpack and fled the house. At this point the route where she had left her car was on fire. So she ran for her life down to the ocean carrying her cat on her back and a roller bag.
She made it. She saved her cat.

Mama Pillsburys kittens. I've been offered a volunteer spot cleaning 2 Foster Kitten rooms and have takin it in exchange for the free Pet Therapy for my child who is struggling. We do have our own bebbies at home. Spelling can be hard. Along with Autism and having Mental illness I have mild learning disabilities- dyslexia, dyscalculia, auditory processing disorder, poopy spelling, my writing is all over the place, and my memory is a bust and so on. I struggle is all. So I learned many big, difficult words using this method of singing the letters to the M I C K E Y M O U S E song. Just saying it helped me. This is a sweet stray girl I found in my community. The Rescue I volunteer at is going to help with her. I call her Esmerelda. She's awful thin, a coin sized open wound on her side that I'm treating, she's very hungry (I've fed her several small meals since I found her eating my neighbors trash yesterday). Esme is trying her first little taste of burger and cheese. Safe to say it's a hit! She has a large mass on the outside of her jaw that radiates to the inside as well. It must be painful for her to eat. She will be seen by the vet and helped and hopefully put into our rescue for safe keeping, recuperation and healing of her heart from the pain and suffering humans inflicted on her by throwing her away like trash. She's so gentle and kind. It's clear she used to be someone's pet. I just don't understand this world. Hurts my heart. She slept with my son last night and she'll stay with me until her life is figured out. Ill keep you updated. ❤️🐾
