Come out this next weekend and support our own Jesse Denton as he races around the track with The Slippery Pickle! This is an event the whole family will love!
The first sprint boat race of 2023 at Ontario Speedway is all set to offer an exciting, fun-filled experience for race fans. Gates open on Friday, August 11 at noon for early arrival of campers. And for those coming on Saturday and Sunday, the gates open at 8:00 AM.
Some of the 50, Reserved Canopy spots, (we provide the 10x10 canopy), located up on our grassy berm, are still available, however, attendees are required to bring their own chairs. Here is the link to reserve: https://ontariospeedway.ticketspice.com/ontario-speedway-asb-sprint-boat-racing. Reserved Canopy spots cost $200, plus the cost of your tickets and the space can fit up to 8 chairs comfortably.
NEW! Based on fan input, and striving to satisfy all of our spectators, we have decided to also allow a limited amount of canopies in a viewing section on the east side of the track, dubbed “Canopy Chaos. This is a first come, first served area, and you will not have as good of a view of the races as you would from the Reserved Canopy Area, but it is free.
Just like our infamous Big Nasty Hillclimb (where some years we have sold close to 1,000 camping passes), we are also offering onsite camping at Ontario Speedway. The camping area is about 200 yards from the racetrack and is covered with grass and mowed, green ground cover. All parking is free and handicap parking spaces are also available.
Food and beverage vendors will be onsite, and the Bargarita's Beer Garden will be located on the berm. NO outside food & drink in the fenced-in spectator area, although you may have these items in the camping and parking areas, of course.
Kids under the age of 5 can enjoy the event for free, kids 6-12 cost $5 for the entire weekend. There will be a very low-cost, awesome, 100X100 kids play area with some water features, running all weekend. Leashed dogs are allowed in the campground, but they are not permitted in the spectator area.
Lastly, we want to ensure the safety of all our attendees and the environment. Therefore, absolutely no campfires are allowed on the ground. Only gas-fired outdoor fire pits are permitted.
