VSMR- The Caspian Fund VSMR donates considerable time and money every year to a number of local animal health-related charitable endeavors in the community.

Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation of Homer Glen Caspian Fund

Providing Families with a special needs pet that may need equipment, such as a cart, orthotic or prosthetic device in order to live an independent life Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation of Homer Glen has become a partner in the Veterinary Care Charitable Fund (VCCF), a program created by the American Veterinary Medic

al Foundation (AVMF) to support veterinarians who provide veterinary services to animals in our community whose owners are faced with extraordinary hardships. With a growing number of pet owners unable to afford veterinary care, the need for charitable help far outweighs the ability of any individual veterinary practice. As a partner in the Veterinary Care Charitable Fund, VSMR encourages the community to make charitable contributions. Donations are tax-deductible and go directly to the clinic to support and enhance their already established charitable work. Contributions may also be made in memory or in honor of beloved pets. The VCCF’s expenses are funded entirely through charitable donations – 100% of every dollar contributed to support the charitable work of VSMR is used to directly fund the care of animals in the community.

So yesterday the AVMA/AVMF came out and interviewed IPCHG for their Integrative Pet Care of Homer Glen - Caspian Fund with the AVMF. Our work and grants to with the rescue Perfect Pooches Adoption Agency & Chi-Rex along with another client Rocko; these grants were given to help with the expense towards their carts. The owner for Rocko was interviewed, along with myself, Valerie, Colleen with Perfect Pooches and Dr. Amber. This will be compiled together to create a video to be released in November (I believe) to make other clinics more aware of the possibilities with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation Fund. Keep an eye out for the exciting release!!
