Toby story: He was at MDAS losing his mind from confinement for so long and he was scheduled to be euthanized the next day!!
We got an appeal to pull him for an adopter in Massachusetts and this adopter failed him miserably in so many ways and dumped him instead of calling us ā he ignored us - he didnāt call the trainers we recommended and didnāt take our help! We had an adoption agreement!
We worked with animal control who helped us to get him to a great dog hotel/boarding place for 12 days and we transported him back.
Now he is back in Miami and thriving.
Itās been a week and he has been decompressing and resting and getting enrichment and exercise and toys and great nourishing food and treats. Heās a good boy who was misunderstood.
Heās working with the amazing Marcela dog trainer who is a volunteer hero advocate at the shelter.
Our vision for Toby is a perfect home. He is a black mouth cur! Lovable and a working dog.
He wants to please. Heās affectionate and was pulling the leash and now heās so much better from training and working the program.
We have expenses for Toby and could use your help:

Toby has been through so much!!! Thankfully he is safe now and will live his best life! He was at MDAS on death row--he was there for a long time. Somoeone wanted him in Massachusetts who failed him and he is coming back to us in Miami to decompress and get some training and then to a forever home where he will thrive.
We have paid all expenses for Toby from medical, transport and vetting.
He is now a great doggie hotel and training place where he is having fun and getting tons of attention. It's costing $40 a day and our bill is from Feb 1st to the 14th i

HELP NEEDED
Rose and her 6 puppies left on transport last weekend, along with Diamond and Buddy.
We were keeping them safe and loved, but luckily they found foster families in Connecticut, which gives them the opportunity to find permanent homes in the near future.
Our 5-acre forested nature preserve property now has 3 gorgeous dogs that also need your love and immediate support.
We have Kira, Lily and Chance. Kira is a beautiful lady (see video) she has been with us for about 3 months and has blossomed into a wonderful girl, she is not scared or shy around new people anymore, she is always happy, loving and playful. Lily is fabulous, has an awesome personality and loves everyone she meets, but has a bit of separation anxiety. Lily loves being around people and is always well behaved. Chance is heartworm positive and needs obedience training, both are costly and we do not have the funds to continue helping these animals, without your support we cannot afford to pay for their expenses.

Our babies are heading to Connecticut to loving homes! Thanks Jessie and Tobyās dream dog rescue and more!!
We have been fostering and nurturing these dogs for about 2 months. Our team has been spending quality time with each one of them to make sure they learn about compassion and kindness. Now they have the chance to move on to a better life, this weekend they will be traveling North. The exciting news is that they have foster homes lined up, these pups will be spoiled and loved deeply.

After losing his home, we agreed to take him in because we felt horrible for him. We couldnāt imagine what he was going through, but we knew he was truly heartbroken and defeated
He was most likely kept outside throughout his life, he never learned how to walk on leash, and we recently learned he is heartworm positive
Chance was neutered last week, and his health started declining. We couldnāt understand why this was happening and yesterday his trainer rushed him to the emergency vet
This poor dog has a severe infection at the incision site which requires surgery immediately

Buddy is recovering, he is feeling much better these days. The medication, yummy food and the extra TLC he is receiving have made a huge difference. Every day he gets stronger, he now wants to play and jump and be a healthy dog again.
He bounced from one emergency vet to the next, we couldnāt figure out what was making him feel so sick. But the incredible vets were able to determine the cause of his illness and we are witnessing his wonderful recovery.
He is back with us, but we still need financial assistance. His medical expenses started piling up quickly, but he needed a fair chance.
