This one goes out to all the people that message me asking if I know where they can get a Malinois puppy, but dosnt listen when i caution them against it and gets one anyway.
They are little baby meat eaters who need a ridiculous amount stimulation to satisfy their needs. If your not going to put in the work just don't do it.
Reactivity issues are tough, but the only way past it is to deal with it. Take your Reactive dog out and work through the issues. Sometimes it won't be pretty, sometimes it'll feel like the most embarrassing thing, and sometimes issues beyond your control WILL happen.. but don't let that stop you from giving your dog the best gift you could, confidence and the chance to better their situation. Advocate for your dog, build your bond, and i promise the success will come. You don't have to be a dog whisperer to get results, you only have to be willing to do the work.
A couple days ago I could barely touch Bo and he refused to take food from me. I'm proud of the progress he's made, and he's got plenty left in the tank π€
The majority of dogs that come through our program have a pretty big issue with being in a crate. Something as simple as what you see here can turn the crate disagreement into a fun game making the crate become a rewarding place to be. A couple sessions a week of this can be a game changer if your struggling with crate training your dog. Give it a try and let us know if it works for you!
This is day 2 for Max, and he is learning all the new things! Shout to Lowe's Home Improvement for hooking us up with a warm place to train!
January has filled up quickly, but we're always happy to squeeze in clients. Shoot us a message to get on the training schedule!
Rhea is absolutely crushing her CGC sessions! Here are a few clips from her 3rd class. Both Rhea & her momma have made big improvements in just a short time. Great job guys!
VetFest 2024 was a blast! We appreciate the folks at VetFest for inviting us over to conduct a K9 demo for the crowd! Yall know we can't pass up an opportunity to go show off the dogs, and speak with community about the amazing capabilities of these animals. Again, we appreciate the invite from VetFest and everyone that capitalized on the break in the weather to come watch!
Also shout out to our friends Carla Stroud Shackleford Velvet Tipton & Cameron Ball for showing up and showing out with their pooches. Yall killed it π€
A few clips of the bitey dogs from our training group yesterday. We love working with pet dogs, but spicey dogs are our passion πΆπ
We don't own the music, so chill FB and don't yank it down.

π₯When your shift starts at 6, but your B&T needs reps at 5π€
As most of you know, both our trainers work full-time jobs, and work at a minimum 12 hour shifts. This often brings up the question with our clients, "the days your working what does my dog do while your gone?". A valid question, and one were proud to answer. Your dog gets to rest and relax! When your dog trains they are not only spending physical energy, but mental energy as well. Think of it like if you went to the gym and during a hard workout you had to solve math problems between all your sets.. your fatigue level would catch up quickly and cause you to need more rest. It's the same for your dog!
Both of our trainers pour a ton of time and energy into each dog they train. When your dog is with us for a B&T program they work their butt's off.. that means early mornings, late nights, and many sessions throughout the day (regardless of if we are working at our full time gigs). Your dog is happy to just relax until the next session and enjoy a small break in the action. Not to mention both of our trainers are fortunate enough to have wives who also become very invested in your dogs progression, and love to help out while we're away, even if it may just be something as simple as a walk or grooming.
Our trainers get tired, run on little sleep, and most times stretch themselves thinner than they care for... but its to ensure that our clients dogs are getting the most from our program as possible.
Below is Cody. His shift starts at 6pm, but his B&T needed more reps.. so what's the solution? Instead of sitting on the couch or taking an extra 30 minutes to nap he gets ready early to make Sit happen.
Your dog will tell on you if you don't put in the work. Get out there and train π€
You guys remember Charlie? Charlie is taking part in our 4 week B&T program learning to be the best companion for her owners. Charlie is learning alot of new things, including how to navigate the obstacle course! Physical and mental stimulation is important. Be like Charlie, challenge yourself and overcome any obstacle in your way π€
Some clips from B&T client Zero's first few sessions! Zero is progressing nicely, and is right on pace for where we want him. One of Zero's biggest issues was how badly he would pull on lead. With the introduction of a marker system to address both his good and bad behaviors, and adding in lead pressure to hold him accountable, Zero has really started putting the puzzle pieces together! Zero still has plenty of time left with us, and we look forward to seeing how much further we can take him!
Today is Ellie's pick up day! Here is a few clips from the last couple sessions. Ellie has progressed tremendously with our target goal which was on lead control, and has even progressed to starting on developing an off lead control foundation. We addressed all of the concerns with her impulse control in public environments, and it's safe to say she's ready to be a well behaved companion during any adventures she gets to go on with her owners. Great job Ellie, you crushed it!
π₯Girls day with Luna & Ellieπ₯
Both of these lovely ladies were working hard in that mid-day heat! They both earned a little cool off break and are resting up for their evening sessions! They work their butt's off for Cody Rowe & then get spoiled by Nikki Rowe afterwards!
Both of these girls are learning fast, and we're already checking off some of the pain points experienced by their owners. Building better relationships between owners & dogs is what it's all about! π€π€
