Attention Farmers!
I see green grass along creek beds- and this means...grass tetany is possible! Please set out some Hi Mag mineral to prevent this and make sure you have a couple of tubes of Magna-gel in your medication cabinet.
Remember that grass tetany happens when the muscles run out of magnesium after eating all that very fresh new grass. This makes for a cow who is suddenly down and can't get up. They will die without treatment (2 tubes of Magna-gel in most cases, or an IV dose from us!).

If you missed the free Rabies vaccination clinic this past weekend- we have left over vaccines until they run out. So, dog/cat, free Rabies vaccine for Buchanan County Residents this week and probably next week at HAH during business hours
