History shows something electric happens when JMJM Mr. Jensen’s hooves hit the dirt in the NEMHS ring, and this year was no exception.
JimJim blew us away with his performances - winning both the English Pleasure Limit Horse AND the Pleasure Driving Limit Horse (with a 3 horse workoff!).
It is a huge accomplishment for a horse to be so successful driving and under saddle, and we are honored every time to present this special horse 🎉

We are so proud of this youngster for taking on this intimidating ring for his first under saddle class ever. He never put a hoof out of place, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Watch for him to continue to blossom in this new division!

Judson made his NEMHS debut this week in style in the Junior Exhibitor Park Harness with our bold girl Graywood’s Isidora.
We are so proud of their drive! Dora is sensitive and light on her feet (and she’s only in plates!) and Jud did an excellent job navigating her. Can’t wait to watch this pair grow ❤️

We had such a fun time at the Champion Hill Trick or Trot show today 👻

So proud of our riders (and our two little do everything horses Purple and Moana for being such good sports). In addition to great rides, our team loved the “Fun” class category, and was ecstatic to bring home the Cutest Costume Award for being the cast of Shrek.

It is with deep regret that we announce that the heart and soul of Sunny Acres Morgan Horse Farm, Dale Vidler passed away September 8, 2023. Those of you who had the honor of knowing Dale know that he was an exceptional horseman, as well as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. We will miss him and his leadership of our farm beyond measure.
We would like to thank the NY Morgan Horse Show committee and our horse show friends and family for their love and support to help us through last week.

We are so impressed with this youngster this week! Freedom Run Final Favor (HVK Navigator x Playmors Center of Attn) hit the ring for the 3yr Old Western Pleasure division and never put a hoof out of place. A testament to what a solid thinking guy “Abe” is, he also partnered with his favorite little girl in Leadline Equitation this morning for a reserve ride!

Our fantastic night last night at NEMHS included a Reserve Champion victory pass for Bellsnazzer (GLB Bell Pepper x Lilac Lane Katlyn) in the 2 Year Old Park Harness Stake, bringing home a very nice prize for owners Frank Schlemmer & Felicia Schlemmer.

Finally picked our favorites from Devon Horse Show to share! We brought a small but mighty team of 3 horses who all loved the unique stage that is the Dixon Oval 🌟

Bolero in Black and Will started it off earning Reserve Champion for owner Jean Hall in the large carriage driving division. “Murphy” also made his under saddle debut in the Hunter Open and was an impressive sight!

WCA Perfection made his debut in the Road Horse division and never backed an ear. We love how “Bruno” puts his whole heart in everything he does and are excited for this new division for him as he continues to find his extra gears.

And then there is the one and only JMJM Mr Jenson, who swept the Open English Pleasure Driving division winning the qualifier and the championship. JimJim lit up the ring and definitely showed everyone how Morgans get it done!

Thank you to our teams at the shows and at home for making the intense two weeks of WNY and Devon run seamlessly. On to International!!!
