Missy (aka Lily) wants to remind everyone that she is available for adoption through Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge!

She is halfway through her board and train with us for basic obedience on & off leash, and she’s a superstar! ✨ Not only is her obedience fantastic, but so is her personality. She is incredibly sweet, energetic but can relax and snuggle, likes to bring you her toys to show off, loves playing outside, and is overflowing with love. 💜

What does Missy know so far?
Proper heel (no pulling on the leash!)
Sit, sit stay
Down, down stay, spot
Come
Exterior door boundary (no bolting out of the door!)
Release (go play and be a dog!)
Proper socialization with dogs of all sizes and ages
Proper socialization with people, and a “say hi” command to be calmly introduced to strangers.

Missy has gained confidence and thrives living with a family. Like most bully breeds, she wants to please and enjoys spending time with you more than anything else. 🐶

She comes with her training equipment and free handling sessions for her adopters! You can’t ask for a better adoption than that! 🤌

Everyone meet Potato🥔! She has an incredible story that we are honored to be a part of. ♥️

At only 3 days old, Potato was sold for $20 by a terrible person. Thankfully, she landed in the loving hands of our amazing friend, Jalissa - part of the phenomenal teams at Brookhill Animal Hospital and Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge. Blue Chip ensured Potato was cared for and Jalissa bottle fed and raised her until she was ready for her next step.

A couple weeks ago I met Potato, and as fate would have it, the next day I spoke to a former client/friend who was thinking of adopting another dog. 😉 Potato is now 8 weeks old, and yesterday came to us. We will be training her and taking her to her forever family in Florida in March!

It is truly amazing to watch pieces come together to help these dogs live their best lives. We are thankful and excited to be one part of her loving journey. 💜

🚗🐾 Two Rescues Are Coming Soon! 🐾🚗

We’re excited to announce that these two wonderful girls from Forever Homes Animal Rescue 501c3 - Nonprofit in New Mexico will be joining us soon! These pups are on their way to the east coast and will arrive in NJ on January 19th. Once they’re here, we’ll provide them with basic obedience training (on and off leash) to help them shine as they find their forever families. ❤️

We’re asking for 4 amazing sponsors to donate $25 each to help cover the gas and tolls for the trip to pick them up. Every dollar gets us closer to ensuring these pups receive the love, care, and training they deserve.

Lily has arrived! 🐾

This sweet girl came to us from Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, and we’re thrilled to help her on her journey to finding a forever home. We’ll be working with Lily on basic obedience (on and off leash) and helping her gain confidence and trust in humans. Shelter life is overwhelming for Lily, but we’re helping her overcome her fearfulness so she can feel safe and loved. She’s already making great progress—she warmed up to us in just a couple of hours!

In these photos, you can see her true personality shining through—loving on Jamie and pondering what her future might hold. ✨

Good morning! It’s me, Lily!

I was born at Blue Chip in 2023 and have been back in their care since June 2024. I am a scared dog and when I get scared, I react poorly. Once I trust humans, I love them with all of my heart and the most affectionate girl in the world! I want nothing more than to please my humans and be with them, but I need a little help learning how to trust them quicker and build my confidence.

I have been selected for a board & train program that specializes in this!! In order for me to go, I need a $200 sponsorship! The weeks of training are free to me, Blue Chip only needs to cover the evaluation and training tools that will work best for me. I leave for training THIS FRIDAY!! If you would like to fully sponsor my training, or even a portion, please message this page!

❤️Here’s a little bit about the program: So here is a little info: K9 freedom designs training programs for the needs of each individual dog. They specialize in building confidence, behavior modification, and both obedience and advance training. K9 freedom has also worked with other shelters in the past, focusing on dogs that are placed on the euthanasia list or are considered unmanageable. They go over all training practices with adopters to ensure training is able to continue within the home.

I will be available for foster or adopt during this program and the family will be able to work directly with the trainer to learn along side me. I am an almost 2 year old Pit mix, I enjoy the company of one other dog, I am not a fan of having numerous other dogs in the home. I would do best with no cats or young kids. I am fully vetted and ready to begin this new chapter!

Jamie found an amazing Christmas ornament idea that we tried out & want to share! 🎄

These plastic ornaments are 2 for $1 at Dollar General. You can open them up, put some of your dog’s hair in, close it back up, and write their name with a sharpie or paint pen. We had fun making these, and they are a forever memory of our precious babies. ♥️

We are extremely excited to share that Lucky has found his forever home!!! 🥳 He has wonderful new parents and a brother, Dexter. ♥️

Training and fostering Lucky was a blessing for us. He’s an amazing, loving boy that deserves to live out the rest of his life happily. We are so thankful to his adopters for welcoming him into their family, and providing him with a home where he is truly understood and loved.
