We picked this Rottie puppy up in Western Ohio and brought her to her new home near Bethlehem, PA. She was such a sweet passenger!

This spring we went through Zion National Park on our way to pick up dogs in California. On the way we saw these baby mountain goats up on top of the hill!

We have another carrier review for you this morning! This carrier is great if you have to walk a long distance with your pet. The in-cabin weight limit may be only 20 pounds but even that can feel quite heavy by the time you get to your gate. The main issue we ran into with this carrier was size. Unfortunately it does not always fit well under a plane seat and may need to have the wheels removed to fit. The carrier without the wheels is spacious but bulky. The mesh sides are great for seeing how your pet is doing but some pets find everything around them stressful and do better in a carrier with solid sides. We really like this carrier and find it best suited to calm pets.

Here is the second carrier we have used. This carrier is great for puppies that are more active or at the maximum size to fly in cabin. Keep in mind that size limits apply with the sides compacted. The expansion is great for longer layovers but not very helpful in flight. Overall we like this crate but it can feel too bulky. The main benefit of this carrier over non-expandable carriers is extra space on layovers.

Helpful tip for the week! (We hope you don't need this tip)

Dogs don't have the best of boundaries and that certainly applies with skunks. If your dog gets sprayed, you can remove the stench with a simple bit of chemistry.
