The Hawaiian Humane Society and the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management have partnered to offer a free virtual training by American Humane, “Introduction to a Coordinated Response for Animals Impacted by Disasters on Oʻahu.” This timely topic will be covered by the national leaders in animal disaster preparation and response.

Everyone has had so much aloha for maui! However, consider that while physical donations are great, monetary ones are more flexible and can be used for large items. Plus they don't clog up Kahului harbor.

If you are an O'ahu veterinarian and not a HVS member, please sign up for 2023 and join us next Tues for our 2022 annual meeting. 2023 has an exciting line up starting with this behavior lecture, our HVS banquet, Dr. Williamson presenting a seizure lecture, Hill's dinner announcement of Onc Care, a relaxation event, our traditional movie night, many other events in the works, and finally we are hoping to have more collaboration with HVMA.

HVS Banquet at Hyatt Centric was a hit! What an amazing and intimate venue. We ate delicious food, got to dress up all fancy, and really got to know each other without the need for entertainment.
