Please please please help our sister shelter in The Dalles, columbiagorgehs.org find these puppies foster homes!!! Puppies DO NOT belong in a shelter. These guys REALLY need to get out of the shelter and into a home.
Please go to their website and fill out a foster application or call 541-296-5189 and leave a message if no one answers. Please help get them out before the weekend. They really need our help.

This is Butch. 🐕 He’s 100% German Shepherd ✔️, 100% good boy ✔️, and 100% looking for his forever family ✔️. Butch needs a special family 👪 that will give him the time and energy he needs to successfully transition into his new home 🏡. Here’s a little about Butch:He LOVES people 🥰. Butch has been great with all the volunteers—and especially loves going on walks. If you’re looking for love and companionship, Butch is the perfect pup! He LOVES to play ⚽. Butch has a lot of energy—and his favorite way to work off that energy is to play, play, and play some more. He loves a good game of fetch—and is prone to Zoomies!He would be a great watchdog 🐕‍🦺. As mentioned, Butch is a purebred German Shepherd; he’s very alert and would make a great watch dog. (Great if you live alone!) He’s SO handsome. Look at that face! 😍He’s not a fan of other animals. As mentioned, Butch LOVES people. But he doesn’t love other animals, including other dogs and cats. 🙅Butch would be a great fit for active adults that:✅Have plenty of time for walks, playtime, and other activities to help get his energy out.❌Don’t have any other pets. (Because Butch doesn’t do well with other animals, he needs to go to a home where he’s the only pet.)✅Are willing to work with him on training.❌Don’t have young kids. (Butch is great with people, but he has so much energy—and gets so excited—that he might knock over smaller children.)Butch has been with HRAAD for a little over a year—and while we’ve loved having him, he’s ready for his forever home. WE LOVE KURANDA BEDS!!!
Top 3 Reasons we 💗 Kuranda beds:

1. Durable, our shelter dogs can’t easily destroy these, which helps us bring down our bedding costs. 2. Great for dogs hips— this goes without saying, our dog’s hip health is very important.

🥳🥳We are honored to be collaborating with Ferment Brewing to raise money for Hood River Adopt a Dog. All Yoga + Beer sales go to the dogs - quite literally.

🌳We’ll be practicing outdoors in the grass behind Ferment Brewing; both 2-legged and 4-legged yogis are welcome to join us. 🐾
After class, stay and join us for food and beverages (available for purchase), giveaways, a raffle with fun prizes for yogis and pups alike, and much more!
🤩Suggested donation of $5-$15 per yogi for this class. Every participant will receive one raffle ticket and can purchase more at the event. 100% of donations will be contributed to Hood River Adopt a Dog to support their work in Hood River County.🐺💵
