Beautiful sweet Benny would like to share that the 4th of July can be difficult even for the oldies. While their hearing may not be as acute, the vibrations, energy and flashes of fireworks, firecrackers and gun shots can terrify all dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and wildlife.
We do the best we can, but please, stay home with your pets this 4th and try some calming practices and products to help ease their fears. If you need help, we are here with suggestions and support.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting one of our favorite manufacturers, Wild Coast Pet Foods!

Owner / founder Tyler Duncan was so generous to show us the entire facility and manufacturing process, which is pristine, efficient, innovative and quite honestly, joyful.
The raw ingredients and gorgeous, 100% human grade meats and organic veggies, sourced locally in the Pacific Northwest. Tyler's greatest pride is in the color of the foods that Wild Coast produces. Bright colors = fresh, unadulterated ingredients, which equals maximum nutritional benefits for dogs and cats. I gotta say, it looked, and smelled amazing in the factory, which is not something you usually hear about a meat processing facility.
I want to show you this because IT MATTERS! Where food comes from & how it is handled matters. What also matters is a company that is transparent, honest and responsive. I can guarantee you that you will never see the inside of a corporate commercial kibble manufacturer, and if you did, you would probably wish you hadn't. 🤢
I hope this post inspires some of you to feed more fresh foods to your dogs and cats. It's not all or none, even if you feed 10% fresh foods to your pets, it makes a HUGE difference in their overall health, longevity & resistence to chronic health conditions like diabetes, heart disease and cancer.

Love this new kid in town! Alice is her name and flying like the wind is her game. 🐕💨

She's a 4 month old Wind Hound, and she is the chillest, kindest little pup ever.

I told her all about our favorite senior Wind Hound, Duke and told her that he would say she's in for the time of her life, living out here and adventuring in Oregon.

Thanks for visiting, Alice, we adore you already! 🫶🏻

Snowball is almost 18 years old and she's doing great!
She's a seasoned traveler, driving up and down the pacific coast with her mom every year. It's super sweet that they always come to visit when they're in town.
Snowball's mom gave us so many nice compliments when she was in last week, if you're reading this, thank you, thank you, your kind and encouraging words have stuck with me all week long. 🩵
Keep on truckin' Snowball, keep eating all that good fresh food and come back again next year!

It was such a fun day of celebrating moms! 🎉💐💕
This totally delightful family came in to get their newest adopted pup Maggie (front right) fit for a harness, and to ask some nutrition questions for their senior pup with inappetance. It kinda turned into a party, even some displays were toppled over, but all in the name of love and fun and moms and dogs, which are all wonderful things!
Happy Mothers Day to all those who celebrate, and to all those who care for someone or something alive. We see you, we appreciate you and we love you!
