🐾🐶 August is Itchy Pet Awareness Month! 🐱🐾

Is your pet constantly scratching, licking, or chewing their skin? It might be more than just a “little itch.”

Did you know your pet needs about 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight each day? In this summer heat, hydration is more important than ever! ☀️

Here are a few quick tips to keep your furry friends cool and hydrated:
✅ Always provide fresh, clean water
✅ Bring a portable water bowl on walks or outings
✅ Add water or low-sodium broth to dry food for a moisture boost
✅ Watch for signs of dehydration: dry gums, lethargy, sunken eyes, or excessive panting

💙 Pro tip: If you gently lift the skin between your pet’s shoulders and it doesn’t bounce back quickly, they may be dehydrated. Call us if you're unsure!

Over the weekend, our team had the amazing opportunity to attend a special event on the Mount Washington Cruise ship hosted by Purina, all about building a stronger, more connected team 💪🐾

We learned valuable ways to work better together, communicate effectively, and support one another—because when our team is thriving, so are your pets! A happy, cohesive workplace means more tail wags, purrs, and happy patients all around 🐶🐱❤️
