One of our clients has an 18 year-old cat that is in need of a new home! If interested, please contact us.

Meow! My name is Davi. I am a gorgeous and loving 18 year old long-haired Maine C**n mix looking to share my senior years with someone special. I am a fantastic and talkative companion who loves to be near you, especially on your lap. It would be great if I could be the only pet in your home. Please consider allowing me to share my love with you in your home. Thank you.

It is with a heavy heart that we must inform all of his friends and admirers, that we were forced on Saturday to say goodbye to our exceptional clinic cat, Jake.
Jake succumbed to a sudden blood clot, which left him painful and paralyzed his hind legs. This resulted from his heart disease, and was not curable. We were fortunate to have enjoyed Jake’s company in his role as clinic greeter and guardian, receiving endless compliments on his large and gorgeous green eyes and friendly manner. All who knew Jake will miss him, and we thank all his fans and admirers for their kind and sympathetic words over his stay with us at HVC, and now at his loss.

Many thanks for all the good wishes for Jake at the clinic coming from his many fans among our treasured clients. He is doing somewhat better since starting his heart meds, his appetite is good, and he even jumps on a chair now and then! Please keep the good vibes and prayers coming his way, and thank you so much!

We want to give all our valued clients and friends a health update on our beloved clinic cat and greeter extraordinaire, JAKE. We recently had Jake evaluated by a cardiologist at Port City Referral Hospital for symptoms of a heart problem. Our Jakey, sadly, has a very serious heart condition but our good news is that since starting his 4 medications, he is eating much better, and starting to show some of the energy and curiosity of the Jake we all know and love. He also just celebrated his 13th birthday on Tuesday! Please send good thoughts and love his way, and we'll keep you updated periodically. Thank you!

The MSPCA at Nevins Farm is waiving adoption fees for farm animals to free up space for winter intakes, aiming to rehome over 50 animals in a one-day event.

The injured cat that was brought in by the good Samaritan yesterday, was transported to the NHSPCA this morning. After evaluation and a series of x-rays it was determined he suffered extreme head trauma and that his jaw had multiple fractures and was beyond repair. He was humanely euthanized by the Veterinarian on staff there. We would like to Thank the Hooksett community for being so concerned for this cat and thank those who sent monetary donations to the New Hampshire SPCA. Thank you from the Doctors and staff at the Hooksett Vet Clinic. 😽
