I'M OFFICIALLY RETIRED!

I started this journey in October 2003. After a groomer injured my dog, Alexander Bubbles, I decided no one would do that again. I bought grooming videos, read lots of books and started grooming little Alex. I lost my job and my husband came home one day and told me someone was looking to rent a booth to a groomer. In April of 2004 this crazy lady decided to give it a go without any real experience. A year later I out-grew that little booth and opened Ruff to Fluff Dog Grrrooming. I am proud of what I have accomplished over the last 19 years. However, I didn't do it alone. I've had some great employees, Mia Petto, Elyssa Rolfe and Pat Lodi, from the bottom of heart thank you ❤️. I am so grateful and blessed to have had the best clients, human and furry. I sincerely mean that, it's very difficult to say goodbye. Thank you to everyone that has been part of my story and thank you for allowing me to be part of your furbabies story.

This is little Lelu. My job was to trim up her face because the fur around her snout was covering her eyes and she had a 4" beard. I couldn't do it. She tried to take my hand off and parts of my face. I was sending Lelu home. In 19 years I've only had to turn two maybe three dogs away. My brave trainee, Chloe, asked if she could try. I told Chloe her face was not doable. I went on to groom my next dog and when i turned around, this is what I saw. This little girl absolutely loves Chloe! I am so impressed with Chloe, I think I'll keep her. Needless to say the owner had a cheek to cheek smile.
