As difficult as it is, I will be selling the final piece to our Hooper Crossing breeding program. I have our stallion, Spatz Harland, and two of my best broodmares, Bobbie and Ruby up for sale. I watched our 50th Spatz baby hit the ground this spring. It has been an honor to be given this lifestyle to live, and I would love to see them go as a group to someone excited to continue on with the Hooper Crossing legacy. I believe that Bobbie and Ruby are both bred back to Spatz. It is with extremely mixed emotions that I post that all 4 of our 2024 foals have left Hooper Crossing Ranch for their great new homes. Thank you and congratulations to everyone who made this happen. I wish you many years of fun and partnership!

You should always ask a horse breeder what they have behind the barn... most likely it is the stuff they are hiding for themselves!
Rita is a 4 yr old bay dun roan, and Sadie is a 2 yr old palomino.

It’s time…. It’s time for me to list Keith’s personal bridle horse, Spatz Silver Spoon.
Spoon is a 2013 black gelding, 94.63% Foundation, 15 hh, stout, with good feet. He has had no injuries.

Spoons sire, Spatz Harland, passed down his great mind and relaxed disposition, and his dam, Poco Holly Page, passed on her curiosity and love for people. Spoon is honest, willing and a thinker. He has had extensive training and experience with his only owner, Keith Danielson. To quote Marcia Moore of MM Training and Consulting…. “All of Spoon’s foundational dials and buttons are finely tuned… neck reining, bending, stopping, backing, leg yielding, as well as turning on the forehand and haunch. He has outstanding ground manners. Spoon rates his speed and has both a pretty extended walk and jog.”

Spoon and Keith have competed and won in Competitive Trail Competitions as well as Ranch Ropings. They have spent many hours gathering cattle, roping and branding. Spoon was Keith’s “go to” horse. If we had a client come up horseless at a Keith Danielson Clinic, it was often Spoon that they had the privilege to ride. Spoon spent most of the past year during Keith’s illness at the Iron Legacy Ranch working cattle, and is now in North Idaho getting a tune up with Marcia Moore. Spoon is not perfect, but he is definitely special! %@& 28,ooo* #@

You can't have just one! Both repeat buyers of Hooper Crossing 'plumb good horses' said they just had to have another! Spatz Pepper Juice went home with Stacy Lewis and Michael Smith, and Spatz Smart Lil Cuppy will be going home with Shannon Hartzog. They will be happy to join their siblings at these great homes!
If you have your eye on a Hooper Crossing horse, you had better act fast!

Spatz Hibar Lottie is learning her manners. Just because the person on the other end of the rope is small, doesn't mean you don't respect her! I love that the Zepps are making Lottie a family affair!
