Here at Alford Avenue Veterinary Hospital, we wish for everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow.

We will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and will re-open at regular hours on Friday, November 28th.

Also, please remember to avoid feeding your pets these common thanksgiving foods as they can be harmful to our 4 legged family members.

In addition to our bunnies that need homes we also have 5 guinea pigs looking for their forever home as well. The boys are still waiting to be neutered so we are introducing just the females that are ready for their new homes!

The first photo is Morticia, she came in with her two brothers Pugsley and Gomez. They are around 6 months of age and are super adorable! Her breed is an Abyssinian due to her precious little cow licks all over her!

The second and third photos are of Florence and Margo. They are from a different situation and are a bonded pair of females around a year to 2 years of age. Since they are bonded, they will need to be adopted out together.

Please give us a call at 205-823-6002 and ask for Crystal if you are interested in adopting any of our guinea pigs!

We have 3 sweet bunnies looking for their forever home this fall. They are the last 3 from our summer rescue of 21 total. Sam, Soup, and Burke. Sam is a neutered male, and Burke and Soup are spayed females.

Sam and Soup have been housed together and would do great adopted as a pair! But they are ok to be adopted out individually as well as they are still fairly young.

Burke has had all of her cage mates adopted so she currently is on her own. She is our fluffiest of all of them!

Give us a call at 205-823-6002 and ask for Crystal if you are interested in adopting one or more of the remaining bunnies.
