Stitch, a grey tabby, is a smart and handsome boy. Rescued from a patch of woods in Destin,
FL., he had a damaged cornea and had wandered away from his littermates, if there were any.
He was so tiny but strong. He was bottle fed and quickly began to gain weight. His eye was
treated but unable to be saved, however he was very active all during that time. The eye was
removed in early October and his recovery has been amazing, no complications. He is
healthy, very active, loves to play. Having one eye has not been a hindrance. He has a good
appetite and is funny and loving, although I’m not sure he knows he is a cat. He knows his
name, he knows “ball” and will look for it when you tell him to find it, and he knows what
“hungry” means! He started using the litter box when he was very young and has done
everything a cat should do from the time he was small. He is up on all vaccines, etc. and is
scheduled to be neutered in January. He needs a forever home. His current “mom is older and
doesn’t want to trip over this sweet boy but has given him everything possible to make his life
comfortable. He loves to eat, climb, play hard and fast. He chirps and fusses at his toys when
playing—so cute! And he has the loudest purr. Otherwise, he’s not that verbal—yet.
