This weekend's schedule reminder! Saturday 9/20 & Sunday 9/21 we will be at Pet Supplies Plus Pelham (PSP), both days from 1-4. And Don't forget about visiting Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue's (KKHR) Haven House and Kitty Kabin (located to the rear of the Haven). We are open Thursday, Friday & Saturday (1-5) and Sunday (1-3). We knew that there was likely nothing that could be medically done. But to do nothing was not an option. Sometimes the only help we can give is relief from pain and a little dignity as they pass. If you could donate even a few dollars, we can keep fighting for them...

Thank you all for showing love for Ares ❤️

One of our team members was alerted to this situation below. She jumped into action to check out what could be done for this little girl. Unfortunately, she was completely unable to move. So, we made the choice to take her to the emergency vet where it was agreed to let her go peacefully. This is the ugly side of cat rescue no one really wants to hear about. But, if we don’t do something, who will?

Her name was Ares. She was a spitfire until the end. Her life mattered. And she deserved so much more.
