Unfortunately we went to open the Dog Park today, a portion of the road has washed out due to water runoff, so the entire park will be closed until repairs are made. We hope to have it repaired in next few days and will update.

If you would like to be a member of the Dog Park, please stop by office with your Dog License and complete a membership form. The Fee is $50 for Town of Beekman Residents and $100 for Nonresidents

The Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health (DBCH) is again partnering with the Dutchess County SPCA to host a free rabies vaccination clinic for pets on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at the Dutchess County SPCA located at 636 Violet Ave in Hyde Park from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This is free to residents and non-residents will need to pay $10 per pet vaccination.
Registration is required so click the link below which will take you to the website for registration. You can also call DCSPCA at 845-452-7722 extension 425 to register. Pre-registration OPENS TODAY.

The Town is aware that there are individuals using the Dog Park without a Dog Park Permit. Staff patrols will be increasing. Membership is for the protection of the users of the park. It is required to ensure that the dogs using the park have their shots and we know who they are if any problems emerge. If someone is found to be in continual violation of rules, their membership will not be granted. This policy is for everyone’s safety.

When the Doherty Gate is closed, the park is closed. It is unsafe to enter. Please do not park outside the gate and walk in. As the sign says: “Gate Closed = Park Closed.

Santa does not like liquid water falling from the sky, he likes the frozen type! He will be visiting Bedazzled Beekman Rec on Sun. Dec. 12, 4:30-6:30 instead of Saturday with a small gift for the children! This is a drive through event. Santa will be at the Gazebo. Happy Holidays everyone!

One week to the Bedazzled Beekman Rec Park open! Come on opening day and say hi to Santa, some elves and a snowman as you drive by! They may even have a small gift for the children! Put it on your calendar now: Sat. Dec. 11, 4:30-6:30. Thank you to the Beekman Library for assisting with the festivities!

Family Fun Campfire Night this Friday!

Beekman residents are invited to join us for lawn games, ice cream, and smores. The beach closes at 6:30 and the program runs from 7-9pm. So pack a dinner, or order take out, bring smore ingredients and join us for some fun.

Requirements: 18 & over, valid driver’s license, stamina to work all day outside, experience in maintenance and grounds including w**d whacking, mowing, ballfield maintenance
Responsibilities include: Grounds maintenance, ballfields, mowing, w**d whacking, cleaning bathrooms and facilities, garbage pick-up, building repairs.
