Dear Friends,
Lily's Ranch and Rescue could really use some love and financial assistance more than ever.

For 8 years, my husband, Trey, and I have been running this Rescue. In case you didn't know, we started the Rescue Ranch in our own backyard in Colorado, and quickly outgrew the space to help animals in need. Since we began, we've moved twice to accommodate the animals....first to western Kentucky and now we have planted roots for Lily's Ranch and Rescue in Auburn Kentucky.

Since the inception of the Rescue, we have thankfully been able to fund our project through donations that were generously and consistently coming in from our pharmacy business. We were able to offer rehab, and ""re-home" or sanctuary to well over 300 animals

Last week, we had to shut down our pharmacy business after 15 years as a staple in our local community. This abrupt end was due to a former employee/family member handling a trusted business situation improperly....literally causing us to shut down our business permanently due to financial constraints.

We are incredibly optimistic that we will recover from all of this, and continue to take care of so many animals in need. We currently have over 100 animals residing here. We have 2 caretakers who help with the animals and need to bring on a full time to help with operations.

It’s $5 Friday. Could you help with with vet bills and the care of some of our newest rescues? This guy Bubba came to us in May very sick. He is recovering from 2nd degree burns . He suffers from seizures and can’t eat on his own. We are fighting for Bubba since he has a strong will to live.
Every animal that comes to live on our property has our promise to give them the best care til the end of their days.

Join us as we pick up a piggy named Dot. Her momma had to make the hard choice to surrender her due to health reasons, and we were here to help. Dot is a sweet girl, and we know she’s going to feel right at home in no time.

Miss Piggy came to us last weekend.
We were transporting her from Illinois to Kentucky, and her ride from Kentucky fell through so she came to live with us. She came from a hoarding/ neglect situation. She will require a lot of care to get her back to a healthy weight.

Our newest rescues, Bessie the Longhorn, Mufasa, the Zebu , and Konan the puppy.
The cows owner fell ill, and could no longer care for them so they joined our rescue. Conan the puppy was born in the shelter, has never been out of his crate, and was set to be euthanized. he suffers from shelter, neurosis, sweetest hubby we have ever met.

UPDATE ON MISS DAISY!! She is walking!! Her hoof trim last week was the ticket to her mobility!

One of our rescue pigs we took in early March was pregnant. She had her only surviving baby on Tuesday. We had to rush mama to have an emergency C-section to save her life. She had 10 additional stillborn babies in her and a whole bunch of an infection. 
Mama and baby are doing well as of today

We have some wonderful news on some of our rescues! Yesterday we dropped off 3 of our pigs to the vet. Pumba went for a tusk trim and have his front teeth looked at. He ended doing so well under anesthesia they were able to neuter him. Penelope and Lucy did well for their spays. All coming home tomorrow.

Thursday we will give this girl her last act of kindness. She fell in a fox hole prior to joining the Lily's Ranch and Rescue back in January. Our original plan was to keep her comfortable until she made it clear it was time. Her pain and discomfort are too much for her now as she doesn’t move more then a few steps at any time. What a sweetheart Misty has been. We will miss her. Run free sweet girl.

⭐️RESCUE ANNOUNCEMENT⭐️
We rescued a sweet girl from a horrible situation in Missouri last weekend she came to our attention that she was going to be shot. She was so neglected. She never knew she was gonna get another meal . We named her midnight because we have noticed she will only eat when it's dark and no one is around. Our goal is to teach her that humans are good and that she can trust us one day. This girl needs to be vetted, please consider donating.

Also keep an eye out this weekend. We are rescuing another pig tomorrow.
