Crammed all of the farm critters in the barn for the night to ride out the winter storm🥶. None of them are happy but at least they're safe and out of the elements. Since our animals are not accustomed to this level of cold they just don't fare well in it. I had to fight the dogs to get them to stay in the barn long enougb to lock it up 😂 They much more prefer to lay out in the cold.

I slept in past 4 am for once and was late to get their breakfast served this morning. They met me in the barn and gave me disapproving glares the entire time to make sure I knew they were mad. As if chunky coco needs more food 🤣

We had a very successful week of adoptions this past week. Both Lynk and Piper found their forever homes and I am thrilled to have been able to find that for them. They are both phenomenal dogs and are doing great in their new homes. Whiskey is still here with us looking for his forever home, we understand that finding him a home to fit his needs where he will be happiest won't be easy but it will be worth it.

I'm also excited to announce I will be starting our goat milk soap business over the next couple weeks! Stay tuned and see how that process goes 😆

We have a puppy! Piper is a 4-5 month old intact vaccinated blue heeler puppy. Piper is the definition of a heeler and needs someone familiar with the breed who has time to dedicate to training and exercise. She's not fully house trained but we are getting there, she is fully crate trained though. Piper currently lives with rabbits, chickens, pigs, goats, horses, and lots of dogs and is doing great. She has a spay apt set up for next year since she's still a puppy and I will be sending her on a spay contract with a refunded deposit once that surgery has been completed. Piper is an amazing pup with lots of potential and she's ready to find a family of her own.

Everyone meet Whiskey! He is a 4-5 year old male neutered German Shepherd. BENI's Ranch and Rescue LLC in Hopkinsville took him in as a foster dog until we can find him his forever home. Whiskey needs a very particular kind of home, he does not thrive in the city and it causes him anxiety (particularly vehicles driving by and loud chaotic noises) however since moving out to my ranch he has been doing phenomenal. He has been around goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, horses, and lots of other dogs. He does okay with other dogs. He is house broke. Once he knows your property he will not leave it, he has free range out here and doesn't wander at all. He does okay around children but does not appreciate being overwhelmed so because of that I prefer him to go to a home without small children. His ideal home would be in the county/on a farm where he can nap on the front porch and just enjoy life in peace. Asking a small adoption fee to help me off set the costs I have put into him thus far. For more information please message me 😁

BENI's Ranch and Rescue is a non profit charitable LLC. We are a family owned and operated farm and animal rescue center in Hopkinsville KY. We believe in humane and sustainable farming, all of our animals are free range and spoiled rotten. We are just getting started out here, follow along to see what's next!
