One of our show lambs is looking for new pastures...

💥Desert💥 (Born Dec 28, 2021)

Exposed to a Dorset ram who sired the Kentucky Grand Champion Dorset a couple of years ago. Marked Sept 15th, 2024, making her Due February 9th, and is currently making a bag. She is sweet and will meet you at the gate. She would be great for a starter sheep. She won Reserve Champion Breeding Ewe at the Western Kentucky State Fair and Clarksville Area Lamb Show.

I don't know why there are people so bored they have to come after us about something they know nothing about...

We always get the question of why the animals don't have water at a large event.... Well they do, you just aren't watching close enough. There is one little boy moving around the water bucket every 15 minutes, refilling from the 45-gallon water tank in the back of our truck. YES, we bring water from home because they are more likely to drink it, just like you prefer certain water.

We do not leave it in the pens because if it spills, they are standing in mud. Standing in mud is bad for their hooves.

Except the mini Hereford, he sucks it down a gallon at a time, so we leave his bucket tied to the fence and refill it.

We watch the temperature. The rabbits get frozen water bottles to lie on, if it's above 85 degrees. The lambs have tents. We bring fans and a generator in hot weather. We have it all covered.

FYI, the goats had halters on because they are being trained. One was tied up temporarily to the fence to train her not to jump out. After that, Big Sis sat in the pen for a couple hours, so the goat didn't have to be tied.

These animals are so overly-babied it's not even funny. I guess you could ask all the actual customers we serve. Or maybe the three vet clinics we have on call. I know all our customers know all this but sure hate that someone attacks a kid's business because they have nothing better to do. 🤯🤯

So, Toni, if you have any more concerns about our animals, why don't you ask us? 😂

We think the first ever Farm Camp 2024 was a success! We hope they loved it! Grateful for our nine willing testers 😂 on this project!! We see more camps coming in the future!!
