We are so excited to announce that with the relocation of the business, we are also able to announce we are officially secured by ADT monitoring. What does this mean for you and your pet? During your pets visit with us, you will have the comfort of knowing this property is under security surveillance. We now have cameras viewing all angles of the property as well as alarms on every door and window.

We are also thrilled to announce that starting this week, we have a water softener system powered by Rainsoft.
What does this mean for your pet and what are the benefits of it?
As most of you know, Hopkinsville has very hard water. Throughout researching, some areas have as much as ten grains of hardness per gallon and a chorine levels of 7+!
Hard water and toxic chlorine levels can do a number of things for your dogs skin such as dry their skin out and cause more itchiness.
Water softeners work by removing calcium and magnesium “hardness” minerals from water.

Studies show that shampoo treatment with water softened with ion exchange on dogs with pruritus (itchy skin, often caused by dryness) and dermatitis (skin irritation) “significantly decreased” dermatitis and itchiness scores in dogs, while shampoo treatment with normal hard water did not. The study concluded that shampoo treatment with soft water promotes skin barrier recovery, and may be helpful in managing pruritus and dermatitis in dogs.

Hey everyone!
Lately I have received a lot of questions regarding doodle and poodle pricing so I want to address and answer any questions you may have!

Doodles and Poodles have very unique coats. They often mat very easily if they aren't on a consistent grooming/brushing schedule. Brushing, at minimum, needs to be every other day. They need to be brushed with a slicker brush and comb back through with a metal comb down to the skin. If there is resistance at all, the coat is not brushed and combed properly! They also need to be on a regular grooming schedule, going no more than 6 weeks at a time. This keeps their coat clean and conditioned and mat free, their nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and sanitary areas hygienic.
When grooming these pups, they have to be fully brushed out before the bath to ensure no matting is bathed into the skin thus causing the mats to be tighter. They also receive two professional grade shampoos along with one conditioner. The drying time on these pups can vary but generally takes between an hour and an hour and a half, depending on the size and hair texture of course. After the bath, these guys are completely brushed and combed through once again and can finally be clipped to the desired length. Once clipped, they are scissored all over. Head to toe.
The total time it normally takes for these guys can be between 3-5 hours for me as I do not have multiple employees and I do not kennel dry. (Kennel drying is a method some places use which consists of having the pup in a kennel with a fan or a stand dryer on them)

Between the time it takes and the amount and rising cost of products, I had to raise the prices.
I do my very best at keeping my prices reasonable.

I am now offering reoccurring scheduled appointments. If you would like an outstanding every 4/5/6 week appointments, please message me and I will send you appointment dates for the next six months.

Payment methods!
I can now accept cards! All card transactions will incur a transaction fee of 2.9%
Other payment methods are cash, check, or cashapp.

Price increase! (Doodle + Poodles)
Unfortunately starting Jan 15th, all doodle and poodle breeds will have a price increase. As much as I have tried to keep prices down, there is a lot of extra work that goes into these breeds. Depending on the coat type and length, it can be very time consuming to bathe, dry, clip and scissor. The updated price will be available at the time of booking.
