Fin’s mom sent me this beautiful pic along with an update that said, “We are so happy! We finished Puppy School and are starting Manners 101 on Saturday. He is the best and I am so thankful to you!”

I just want to say how much I love my wee dog Finian. I am a professor of school counseling at the University of West Alabama, and I was wanting to get a dog who would be an excellent therapy dog to take into schools.

Fin is amazing. I started training him as soon as I brought him home. He is very intelligent and learned to sit on cue within a week. We started puppy school, however the trainer felt that he could go immediately into the therapy dog program. On our first class, Fin was able to show off his skills: sit, stay, stay down, and come. He was friendly with the other dogs and is a natural leader.

We love taking him everywhere. Last week we took him to a coffee shop and sat outdoors. A small disabled girl rushed up to pet him. He sat calmly and allowed her to pet him. He also met a new dog and stayed in sit. I am anticipating that he will get his Canine Good Citizen certification within the year.

Kayla, thank you so much for giving Fin such a great start. I am looking forward to a lifetime with my forever friend.

When I started grooming dogs a decade ago, I had never seen or heard of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Then the day came where a client brought hers in for a bath and trim, and I was hooked from that day forward.
After years of research, seeing a few more Cavies as clients over the years, and finally being in a home environment where I could start my search, I went for it.
Imagine my surprise to find a respectable, professional breeder so close to my home in Paducah! Kayla and her pups were just a hop and skip away!
She was INCREDIBLY thorough with the entire process, from application to phone interview to daily live feed updates, and finally to pick up day.
Imagine pairing a little Cavie pup to a big, fluffy Chow Chow. Adorable, right? Our Munch and now little Pippin have been thick as thieves since day one! Our family life is busy at home, but Pip is right there with us from the moment we get up to the time we finally get to bed. He's become quite the driving buddy too, accompanying us pretty much everywhere! He's the perfect match for us with his s***k and sweetness!
I have already recommended Kayla and Spellcasting Cavaliers to two friends of mine who have had Cavies in their childhood and were interested in contacting her for future litters. Who knows, maybe we'll be back for another ourselves in a few years!

When we decided to go with a fourth Cavalier a friend of mine recommended Spell Casting Cavaliers. They are professional, in constant contact, sends many videos and pictures as your puppy grows. We were very impressed with the way they love and care for their puppies. We bought a Black and Tan named Ozzy! He is SO smart and confident. He is completely puppy pad trained at 9 weeks! He’s so loving and perfect for our family. We recommend Spell casting Cavaliers!! Beautiful, perfect pups! We love our Ozzy!!!!

We found our little buddy after seeing a post on a CKCS Facebook group. I had been looking for a cavie puppy on and off for a couple of years. When I feel in love with breed/our Blenheim,I knew I needed more of their love in our family! After reaching out to Kayla, she was very responsive and willing to answer my many questions (can’t be too careful about fake puppy posts!). They were very understanding and patient while I wanted for my husband to get on the same page on getting a new puppy. 😊 Once we committed, we kept the conversation going, with many updates. It just got me more and more excited for meeting our little guy! They were also very accommodating while I was making plans to drive and/or fly from Wisconsin. Now that we have had our baby for a couple of weeks, he has settled in nicely and is doing great with potty training already (because he was pretty well trained with puppy pads when he came home). He has the best personality, and they did a great job matching what we needed for our lifestyle. If we decide to get another - I would start with Kayla again, too! ~Cortney Ecklor
