Megan has been bringing her dog Thyme to scent class every Sunday. Thyme had a really hard time with me the first time he stayed here. He was absolutely terrified and reactive. Now he comes every Sunday and is becoming a more secure, happy, & confident boy

Lucy has been healing up from surgery wonderfully in her foster home these past couple of weeks. She is starting to feel like her bouncy self again! Lucy loves her foster family but is ready to move on to her forever family. Is that with you?

Lucy will be on site with her foster mom tomorrow from 11am to 3pm. It is the perfect time to meet her as her foster mom will be there to answer your questions!

Mr woolly went home today. I have to say for a dog that's just been adopted 3 weeks ago he is so cool. I wish we knew his history or maybe I don't want to know. He loves to play with his human. He lets you touch his feet, rub him all over & is stubborn as hell. But what a cool guy he is. With the most interesting fur I've ever seen.

Look who came to stay a few days with me. HSIMC alumni Wooly. He is very cautious as he has been only adopted for 2 weeks. A lot of new things and then he's here. So I am going very slow with him. Luckily I have a fabulous dog to introduce him to after he settles in. Strider sniffed him through the fence and that was enough for a few minutes. Wolly's got the most interesting coat of wire hair terrier and webbed big feet. I can't wait to find out what his DNA is. But in the meantime very good dog fits him just fine

Very sad and very odd

Five mountain lions monitored by the Sonoma County Living with Lions Project have died of pneumonia in the past few months. Scientists have not been able to figure out what’s causing it.
