Just want to have a great time riding Western Dressage without membership or points? Then come to any or all of our shows!
We want EVERYONE to know that if you pay the $25 Chemung County Agricultural Society Dues (good for the whole season) AND attend THREE out of the FOUR Western Dressage Shows (The Fourth show is during the Chemung County Fair August 2, 2024 which gives DOUBLE Twin Series points toward end of year awards) you are eligible for End of the Year Awards presented at the Annual Banquet in January. THESE AWARDS ARE CHAMPION AND RESERVE FOR EACH DRESSAGE CLASS! This is a big change from Champ and Reserve for each level as it recognizes more horses and riders who show in the series!
Our WD classes are part of the Twin Tiers Classic Show series of Open Shows the same weekends. We WELCOME Open show riders and can work you into the western Dressage Ride schedule, no problem! For Western Dressage we have a full size competition ring, huge warm up, permanent stalls in a large barn that is very close to both rings, wash stations, permanent restrooms, and very helpful, friendly managers and volunteers. Access to the Fairgrounds is easy on/off from major highways. Prize and class lists and entry forms to be posted soon
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE!

SUNDAY JUNE 1, 2025:
LESLIE LOPARDO [MA] "R" began her career as an AQHA competitor and breeder. In the late 90’s her focus shifted to dressage and in 2014 she became a USDF L judge with distinction. She is currently a USEF R judge and a carded western dressage judge with AQHA. Leslie has judged many shows including the Northeastern Western Dressage Championships twice. Memberships include AQHA, USEF, USDF and WDAA. Her time is spent divided between Florida and Massachusetts, teaching, training and giving western dressage clinics.
SUNDAY JUNE 29 AND SATURDAY AUGUST 2 (the Fair; also classical dressage classes):
LAUREN ANNETT [PA] “r” began riding at a young age with her mother and brother. She took a hiatus for college and attempted to balance life as a biochemist and an aspiring horse lady. After a decade in manufacturing, she is now a full-time trainer, judge and competitor. Lauren owns and operates Lauren Annett Dressage LLC out of her Family’s Bally Vae Farm. Lauren is a USEF “r” Dressage and Western Dressage judge. She has earned her USDF bronze and silver medals and is committed to her own education and the knowledge base of her students. Lauren’s program is comprehensive and she works to meet rider and horse goals and challenges them to optimize their athletic capabilities.
SUNDAY AUGUST 31:
KARRY BROTHERS [NY] “r” is a USDF L Graduate with Distinction, USDF Bronze Medalist, USEF "r" Western Dressage and is currently working with her next spicy dressage partner, Lachlan (Everdale x Wynton), a stunning 6 year old KWPN bred by Rhodes Farm. Her focus is on biomechanics of both horse and rider and how they affect each other, particularly in dressage. Karry owns Emerald Glen in Stephentown NY, where the focus of the riding programs is on horsemanship, sportsmanship, and kindness. She currently works with horses of all different types and riders with all different abilities and emphasizes that there is always more to learn. Karry is on the Board of Directors for the New England Dressage Association and is in charge of Judge Education, where she helps organize the training programs for up and coming judges. She also is a resource for showing strategy and helps riders get every point possible out of a dressage test.
