Meet Beauty. I put 30 days on her. Owned her a year almost. I need to get back to 3 horses from 4 horse so a mouth off the bill. She is halter, farrier can trim her every 6 wks, does not need anything BLM got here Bill Of sale. Had her teeth professionally done in Nov. She is just 6 yrs old. I have a hurt back had to stop at 30 days training I'm not willing to finish out another horse. Got her for the virtual EMM and 1 month later was in a car accident so she has just been yard art. I can't change putting my body through the walking and saddle breaking. She walks on lead, lunges, loads in stock trailer, does well with other horses, she stands tied hrs, she loves stalls, she will hook up with you in the round pen, shes an easy catcher if you have a routine or a horse, vets out well for shots. My kids feed her daily without me & I have 10 dogs She does not care about them underfoot. She is just under 15 hands and from Wyoming. She would do great in a barn she loves the stall even when she can go to pasture. Shes a wonderful blank slate mostly just showed her love, not reactive even from adoption like my other 3 mustangs were. She is safe to start under saddle I've put pony saddle on her no reaction .I can put blankets on her all winter.

I'm looking for a young worker or homemakers wanting to get out of the house. This person is wanted to help on the farm at times possible and the boarding/training of dogs & facility. It's an internship that only gets experience from it and will not be consistent. If you are paid it will only be 1099 pay not employment. I'm an owner operator. You can get your community service hours if my business qualifies for your program. Sometimes I needed help to teach two dogs at a time basics or just care for the boarding dogs while I train. Ok y'all I'm ready to tell a little about my experience saddle breaking my first mustang. Man gentling is nothing compared to finishing out a horse. Not every horse is a 30-90 day horse and I found that horse who is not a quick horse. I'm so proud to say I finally took my girl Birdie the mustang I've self trained for her first ever solo ride without any safety net kind on the ride. What I learned from this is I could gentle 4 horses & it's nothing like finishing out one horse. I now understand why so many horse are just gentled and not finished or send to trainers to finish out after gentling

Birdie history: I adopted her from a couple who had her from the storefront for 3 months. They had Birdie halter broke & lightly trusting, first trailer loads, which once I got her home was a challenge to reload...lol. She would only let you pick up her front feet without a trim yet or be able to touch her back feet.

Birdie and My Story: Birdie has been through a lot of ups and downs since we got her. I've trained well, learned to change my ways when she would shut down & she got hurt and had to overcome an accident where she paralyzed half her face for 4 months from a trailers accident. Was on pasture rest to heal with a chance it was permanent ( she overcame it with full function). She had to overcome her new fear of trailers and face touching after the accident & has dumped me a few times and trusted me deeply others. When the feeling in her face came back she would freak if touched her so we had to overcome the halter breaker she became. I never thought it would take me 20 months to have a real ride. But life for me was about as up and down as hers these 20 months. I got in a car accident myself last year and got injured. It took months to heal my shoulder, got sick for a while, could not walk right at time to train and had to take care of Grandma who fell for months which took a lot from me. At moments I almost gave up and thought of selling her cause it was hard for me or she shut down from her accident. But with the encouragement of family, my farrier helped in training & correction of my methods at time or showing me the easier way to rehab her from fears. Then my mom let me use Rosie the mule to show her how to love/trust more. We pony her off the old mule. I'm proud of my Horse & myself for just making it this far. I'm ready to start my many wet saddle blankets journey. I've also done all this with my past injuries flaring up at times. If you read this and don't know I have 5 herniated disc and sciatic nerve damage. Some days j look normal other days my medical service dog had to help me walk. So she would have to wait weeks sometimes for me to be able to work with her.

I hope when people get a mustang they realize there all individuals minds. Some learn quickly others learn and need time. Some like Birdie would forget if left for a few weeks and you had to start over.

"To finish is to win" is the endurance racing motto I grew up hearing. They would say "even if you're in last place as long as you finished you are a winner". I learned that from growing up Endurance racing with my mom when I got the tail end award at an event being the last rider to come in off a 25 mile race as a 5 yr old on my first race. Not all dreams come quickly or easily. Stick with it if it truly is what you want cause the end result maybe better than if you got it quickly.

I sit here at the airport gate waiting on a flight. I'm blessed! I am not perfect I have strong body days and weak body days. I struggle seeing positive things even when you think I'm bubbling over. God gives you what you need even if you can't see it at the moment. I was gifted a trip that was soul deep healing. It deeply made me feel the beauty and the glass overflowing in my life. I'm loved so much by the people in my life. Being able to have days of true mental peace, no worry & strength to ride even when walking is hard. If you're struggling remember if you're at the bottom, up it the ok only way up. If you need a hand let someone help it will be easier than walking alone. If you need strength of mind and body ask for the Lord to give your fortitude.

Find your quote that lifts you up and say it till you truly feel it. It's easier to give up than fight but the fight will make you stronger, tuffer, humbler and help you have more compassion for others.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Y'all were so excited. I have been accepted into the Virtual EMM 2022 Extreme Mustang Makeover . After helping my daughter who will be in the Ocala EMM in FL April 29-30 Alisen Turpin. I was excited to take on my own journey. So I went on the search and found "Black Beauty" a wonderful mare from Lost Creek, WY. She is a 5yr old mare I was about to get from Bell, FL. We picked her up April 10th it's day 14 and she is coming along wonderfully.
We removed tag day 2
My daughter could kiss her on day 3
On day 5 we were able to take her halter and drag line off to put the halter on as we wish now.

This mare is checking off boxes fast.
Today on day 14 she leads, has a wonderful draw off lead and on lead to follow, lunges with changes, round pens off lead, can sling ropes on her, backs up on lead, working on front feet, yields her rear when asked and loves treats.

Middle is 6 yr old Triple B NV mare, 13.3 hands
Front is 2 yr old Eagle NV gelding
I love this showing such a difference in my mustangs heights and sizes
