We are so excited to begin this journey to be a same hobby farm. I was raised on a small Ranch raising walking mules, dogs and chickens. So starting my own farm has been a long time dream. On this little farm we have wild mustang horses in training, Mini Australian Shepherds, goats, meat pigs and KuneKune pigs. Here at Pony Express Turpin Farm we are striving for temperament, health and quality ra

ised meats. Like most people we want healthy foundation stock in all our farm animals. Let me tell you a little of why were chose our farm stock. We want to produce pets everyone can enjoy but also produce meat quality animals to feed our family.

Well, I've been riding since I was in my mama's belly. My mom didn't want to go a day without riding. So this picture here is one of my precious memories. When you say you were a kid and you rode. I don't know how many miles you may have rode. What's the longest you rode? I was a 5-year-old in his photo on my first 25 mile endurance race. I road double with my mom's best friend's daughter Christy we completed the event. You can love horses and you can love riding. Or it can be in your blood and you don't want to spend a day without it.

Our wildfire story! We live down Browntown Rd in Brantley County GA where the wild fire took place and were evaluated. I am so thankful the "Southern Area Team 1 " run by Brad Tyler was able to leave Scattered Pines Rd where my farm is located and surrounding homes. I went to the AES help for only one thing just to ask that they level my farm acre from the need they used to make an emergency safe spot for equipment. I met so many people and learned the story why they dozed my full horse acre. I discovered when the fire was blazing and jumped the road on both sides and locked out protector teams it was the only place to protect the Dozers and HotShot firefighter teams. I found out today the acre saved many dozers 6 dozers also from being burnt when the fire got bad. They had to do helicopter and airplane drops on the acre to keep the fire from jumping. I'm glad we had a spot for them to us and be safe. I watched for days through my Cellular Muddy Cameras at their 24hr watch they had going they were amazing. I was and will never be mad they did what was needed to protect homes to my land to keep people & equipment safe. Everyone I spoke to was kind and helped but my acre back flat. Without asking there even going to replace my horse seed planted to bless us. They had to use our road so much they even fixed our road knowing we had to bring 30 farm animals home in trailers. So we got home with all the animals safe. I have dozens of shots showing they were on watch. Please thank them for there diligence and work if you see them. I will forward be thankful for the HotShot team, All firefighters and Forestry teams. A lot of these men and women were local and from many states away. They are Heros and need to be told they have value above and beyond. They all were very humble people. We are a military family and understand acts of service and these men all need a Heros reward.

Well u got to pick up new farm goats. It's get to cold on the drive home u stop at Tractor Supply and get diapers so everyone can hold a baby...lol. We have future Nigerian dwarfs now. Changing goat breeds at our farm. We will be little goat producers in now.
