Rescue has always tugged at my heart strings. As soon as I was able, I started fostering dogs, transporting when I had the time and donating when I could. Once I became a groomer, I would groom dogs in my free time whether they just need a good bath and nail trim or a hair cut. Dogs in need deserve to look pretty, too! Yesterday, Oliver came to visit with Unforgettable Underdogs Dog Rescue for a bath and tidy up and he was such a good boy for it all!

Oliver is looking for his furever home with an active family that will play a lot of fetch with him! If you are interested, head on over to UU's page to apply for this sweet boy. He will be scooped up fast!

Shedding season is upon us!

As this beautiful spring weather sticks around, many double coated breed owners will notice that their dog is starting to shed heavier than usual. You might even see the coat looking clumpy. This is because they grow a thicker and longer coat to keep them warm for colder weather, and then they shed it come warm weather for a shorter coat to help stay cool.

Although messy, a good, thorough deshedding treatment is a favorite in my salon. It's a chore to clean up after the service, but it beats being all over your carpet, furniture and vehicle! Regular professional grooming can stay on top of unwanted excess hair around the house.

Hello pet parents, I’d like to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Emily and I am the new part time groomer at Copper Comb! I’ve worked in the pet industry for 10 years and have been grooming for 8 of those years.

I’m a lover of all animals, and have a small zoo of pets! I have a sassy coonhound mix named Mia, and 2 goofy greyhounds named Webster and Quincy. I also have a tiny, precious cat named Scooter, and a ball python named Shiva.

I am a certified professional groomer through The Golden Paws Pet Styling Academy in Marinette. I am also certified in canine safety, first aid, CPR, and safe handling techniques. I attend continuing education seminars yearly so I can stay updated on new grooming techniques and styles. I also have extensive knowledge about quality products and tools to make your dog look and feel their very best! I love working on all breeds of dogs, but I have a special love of doing de-sheds and tidy ups on those double coated breeds! I’m so happy to be grooming here, and I’m extremely excited to meet you and your canine companions!
