Another rough day in the books, but we are thankful as it could have been worse. Please COME reclaim your missing dogs. We have some beauties in our facility we know have to belong to someone!

All we can do is pray for a good Friday. Help us save lives and clear the shelter. Tomorrow all BLACK OR BROWN DOGS over six months old are sponsored. We have several dogs that have been with us so long they are in danger. Before you ask which ones, please scroll through our feed and you will see all the dogs we have made several videos of or highlighted.

Please make the time to come VISIT the shelter. We have a wonderful play yard now for you to utilize visiting dogs you are interested in.

Our major needs: CANDY for our upcoming Halloween after hours event on 10/30 AND large bags of adult dog food for our community pantry. We have NONE.

A huge thank you to Ruby Doo's mom, Ms. Christy Escarre for the large donation of dog leashes and harnesses. Ruby Doo was dumped at our gate over a year ago. She was pulled by one of our partner rescued and adopted by Ms. Christy. She reports she is thriving!

Damian and Motley

These two Staffordshire Terriers were taken in our recent cruelty/abandonment case. They are extremely smart and loving. Both of these two are built like brick houses.

Damian is strong and pulls on a leash, but learns quickly. Damian LOVES water, plays with a ball and wants all the ear scratches. He is around 2 years old and we would recommend a home with older children because sometimes he jumps out of excitement.

Motley is a one year old Staffordshire Terrier. He is around one year old and smaller than Damian. Motley is quiet, calm and good with others. He is playful, good on a leash and very sweet.

Both of them can be adopted through our 501c3 partners the same day of, with a longer application and a 100 adoption fee which also includes a Proheart 6 injection for heartworm prevention.

Thank you to each of you who support us, donates to us or our pantry and helps keep us from completely breaking down. We are trying to chip away at the enormous amount of dogs who came in Monday, but are trying to coast uphill with Olive Oil pushing us. Come be our Popeye the Sailorman!
The next TWO days we will be having a "Black Friday Sale". All dogs, who are black over one year old 🖤 are sponsored! Sponsored means free, but PLEASE don't adopt if you aren't financially prepared for ALLLLL the things and necessary vet appointments, emergencies, food and the occasional dog bed explosion 💥.

TWO owner surrender puppies, ONE stray dog, TWO puppies adopted, PAYTON adopted, TWO dogs reclaimed, and ONE dog rescued. We had SEVEN families use our pantry.

These three Border Collie mixes were seized in a cruelty/abandonment investigation. We hurt for what they've been through. Now, they have a chance at an amazing life, with you.

Mom, is perfect in every way. She's great on a leash, loving with all other animals, smart and gentle. Her pups are around 9-10 weeks old and obviously the apple 🍎 didn't fall far from the tree. They are quiet, sweet and just need a good bath and lots of love.

7 months old lab mix. Weighing around 30lbs.
He is mixed with something that is making him smaller.

He has been with us almost 3 weeks!!

Bunny 🐰

Bunny has been in a medical foster for almost two months, after she was horribly attacked by other dogs. She is an 8-9 month old 15 pound sweet little lady. Despite what happened to her, she LOVES other animals, is leash trained, potty trained, kennel trained and now fully healed from her horrific ordeal.

Today, she is getting spayed and will be fully vetted. We don't want her to have to come back here since she is healed. She deserves an amazing home. We don't see this little lady getting much bigger.
