Hey cowgirls and cowgirl fans, the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup and Arts Festival is just around the corner! Are you bison-ready? We'll be ready for YOU! The Arts Festival is free to all in Custer State Park near the State Game Lodge - around 169 vendors will have their best merchandise on display on these days and times:

Thursday, Sept. 26th, from 10a to 5p
Friday, Sept. 27th, from 10a to 7p
(Added bonus: weather permitting, CSP plans to have a hot air balloon Night Glow next to the vendor booths starting at 7p Friday. It is an amazing sight!)
Saturday, Sept. 28th, from 9a to 4p

Be sure to stop at my Dakota Cowgirl booth #84, conveniently located across from the food tent, where I'm featuring vintage and retro women's Western and Boho clothes and accessories in a variety of sizes and price points. Try them on in my in-booth changing room and take them home!

Hey cowgirls and cowgirl fans, the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup in Custer, South Dakota, is two weeks from today!

While you're here enjoying the thunder of bison through the park, be sure to stop at the Buffalo Roundup Arts Festival near the CSP State Game Lodge off highway 16A. It's free and you can patronize 169 vendors this year, eat and drink for reasonable prices, and enjoy local musicians and poets at no charge. Arts Festival hours are:

Hey cowgirls and fans, the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup Arts Festival starts in 15 days! Dakota Cowgirl will be there in booth #84. Here's a list of all 169 vendors slated for the Arts Festival - map out your journey ahead of time or just cruise the booths when you get there! Admission is free and ATMs will be on site.

It's only 17 days until the Custer State Park Buffalo Roundup & Arts Festival in beautiful Custer State Park, Custer, South Dakota!

Stop by the Dakota Cowgirl booth at the Arts Festival! We're featuring our vintage and retro bohemian and Western wear and more. We're in booth #84 conveniently located near the food and beer tent and the Big Top tent featuring live entertainment from the area's best bluegrass and country musicians.

This year, the Arts Festival features 169 arts and crafts booths, food, beer, and nonstop entertainment near the State Game Lodge on Highway 16A in Custer State Park, Custer, SD. Admission is free!

Arts Festival Hours:
Thursday, Sept. 26th from 10 am to 5 pm
Friday, Sept. 27th from 10 am to 7 pm
Saturday, Sept. 28th from 9 am to 4 pm

The Buffalo Roundup:
More than 1400 bison are rounded up in Custer State Park and stampeded alongside park personnel, cowboys, and cowgirls all herding the animals toward the Buffalo Corrals. You'll watch in awe from one of two designated viewing areas as the thundering bison pass within a few hundred feet of you on Friday, Sept. 27th.

Gates open at 6:15 am (get there early!). Bring chairs, cameras, binocs, rain gear, layered clothing, snacks, and sunscreen. You can buy a great pancake breakfast in both viewing areas. The Roundup begins at 9:30 am and culminates in the corrals, where the bison will be tested, inoculated, and sorted for sale or rerelease into the park.

This is a must-see event that you'll talk about for years to come.
