Rheas are large, flightless birds with gray-brown feathery coats, long legs, and long necks, much like an Ostrich. The young reach full adult size in about six months. Thatโs some fast growing!

Did you know that peacocks are related to pheasants? They are in the same taxonomic family. And technically, only the males are peacocks. The females are peahens, and the babies are peachicks!
Male peacocks donโt start growing their fancy tail feathers until about the age of three. These feathers are shed every year after mating season.
