After a lot of deliberation, I’ve decided to rehome Ruby. She could go to a reputable breeder home or she will be spayed and rehomed as a pet.
Ruby is an absolute sweetie but she needs a more active family or a home with lots of room to run. She would be an amazing hunt prospect for upland bird hunting…even small game like squirrel hunting. She has tons of retrieving drive that I cannot provide for her at this time.

The pups had a great vet visit and first vaccinations for their 6 week checkup! Yellow and pink girl are still looking for their family!!! They are ready to go home next week ❤️

The pups are 5 weeks old today and are so much fun right now! They love to climb up on your lap and give kisses! Toys are interesting and fun for them now. We are having a blast!!

Ok..so I don’t normally feed the pups their mush in a paper plate…but when there’s only 3 babies, I figured why not! I think they are in a food coma now! 🤣 plus easy clean up haha!

Any new puppy owner of any breed dog…please keep this in mind! 😊
I know it’s cute when they jump off of a couch, or slide around on a floor like Scooby Doo…BUT…they could be doing damage to those joints that haven’t fully formed yet. Remember what this X-ray looks like when they get too rambunctious and don’t let them overdo themselves!!! ❤️

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

The pups were 3 weeks old yesterday! They are growing so fast and starting to bark and play more. Today I expanded their pen, added the litter box/potty area, offered mush for the first time and placed the water bowl. ❤️
The two females are still available. PM for info.
