Please remember that axolotl’s are a species only pet. They do require very clean water. They need to be in at least a 40 gallon tank as an adult. They required cycled water to go home. They like it cold water and do not really like too much light.

I really do not like changing hours, but due to lack of staffing, resources and slow sales, I have to change the hours in order to keep the Shop open. If these hours do not work out, there will be more changes to the Shop hours in the future. I do apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

I personally have adopted 2 kittens from One Love Rescue. They are the most sweetest and loving kitties and no behavioral problems at all!

Hedgehog Food recall. Not at the shop recently, but I have carried this product in the past. It is a fairly popular food option for hedgehogs so please pass this info along to those that have hedgehogs. We don’t see recalls for these critters foods too often, they may not be aware.
Vitakraft Sun Seed Inc. has recently issued a voluntary recall on Sun Seed Vita Prima Hedgehog Food, 25oz due to Possible Salmonella Health Concerns.

TDBBS LLC is voluntarily recalling 3,551 bags of Green Tripe dog treats due to the potential presence of foreign metal objects in the dog treat. There have been no reports of pet injury or illness regarding the potentially impacted product to date.

Meet Levi, a 32 year old African Grey (Congo). He is friendly but still adjusting to a new environment. He can speak quite well when he feels like it. He makes many many sounds and whistles. He’s not aggressive, but he isn’t fond of strangers. He will need some time to decompress. I’ve had him in quarantine for about three weeks. He lets me scratch his head and talk to him and pet him softly. He moves at his own pace. He is available for adoption. There is an adoption fee, this is not a free parrot. He has to go to a home that is familiar with his species/large parrots. He has never been around small children. I wouldn’t recommend him around small children at this time unless you really know what you’re doing. They move a little too fast for him. He comes with his cage and food. African Grey’s can live up to 80 years. He’s not even halfway there, so please remember he is a lifetime commitment. If you have questions about his adoption fee and the process to adopt him please come to the shop directly. You will need to meet him. Although you may want him, he may not choose you. This is true with most parrots. So please keep this in mind when you consider him. You may be the one that feeds him and loves him, but he may choose to love the pizza man instead, lol! Welp, we have another beardy that has seen some $h1t. Pretty sure she’s a female. Probably about 9 months old.
