Mid- FEB UPDATE

Some of you know that there was a set back here at the Reef. While fixing a leak in the 600 gallon tank, my son accidently cracked the tank pushing off the bottom to get out. It was an accident, so he lives to see another day. It was not an explosion of water, but a set back none the less.

Upon seeing that leak, all the fish had to come out, and go back into 275 gallon totes that I have here. Due to the rapid change in water temp and chemistry, 3 of the larger iridescent sharks perished from fungal infection. So, I have been busy with 50% daily water changes on the survivors and adding new meds every day.

The 600 gallon tank is now repaired with bullet resistant Lexan over the crack and will be covered with substrate and unseen.

The 275 gallon Quarantine totes are currently in the way of where the inventory of new fish are going. So, until I can move that, I cannot receive a full delivery of fish for sale.

I appreciate your patience, and want to let you know, I am still moving forward, just a little slower these days ;)

Here at the Reef, we are fighting Jack Frost and adding more tanks. Which means More Inventory!!! But... Until renovations are complete I am closing the shop off from Public Access.

We are still available for water deliveries and home inspections. I am hoping to have this issue resolved in the next week.
