Hey guys! Here again with Lil’ Ricky. He’s still patiently waiting for his forever home! His sister was adopted, now it’s his turn.
Lil’ Ricky is now 10 weeks old, and an absolute sweetheart. He’s very clingy and will follow you around the house. He is a playful boy and would love to have another dog to hang out with in his forever home!
He is spunky, curious and lovable. We expect him to stay true to the size and looks of a Chihuahua, although he is a mix. He is a lover boy at heart and is happy to be held and go on car rides. He enjoys floating in the pool and sunbathing, which we think is the cutest thing ever! If you are looking for a companion and lap dog who is content with just being next to you, Ricky is your guy!

Hello friends! Long time no see👋

We posted a while ago that we had unfortunately closed intake until further notice. We had not planned to begin intake again but these two sweethearts happened and we now need your help to find them their perfect forever homes….

Meet Lil’ Ricky & Fiona!

Lil’ Ricky has a personality that is not built for his wee body. He is spunky, curious and lovable. Tipping the scales at a whopping 1lb 6oz, this little pup is expected to stay true to the size and looks of a Chihuahua, although he is a mix. Lil’ Ricky is very confident and prances around showing it. Due to this extra dose of confidence, he requires a pawrent who can handle his shenanigans and keep him out of trouble. He is a fearless little guy who gets the zoomies quite often. He is a lover boy at heart and loves to sleep on your shoulder/neck. He can’t wait to show you his alarmingly fast paced kisses!

Fiona, the sweetest cuddliest pup you’ll ever meet. Her gorgeous, long and curly coat is just one of her many qualities. Although she is a bit bigger than her tiny brother, she is still only sitting at 3lbs. Fiona is pretty laid-back at times but still has her puppy tendencies and enjoys wrestling and running around with her brother. She has the cutest floppy ears and unique beige colored coat. She does not like to be alone. If you are not holding her, she is mad about it. And you will probably hear her opinion of the matter. Fiona is a true lap dog and requires her future pawrent to comply with her obligations, no exceptions.

These two are Chihuahua mix siblings and will be ready to go to their forever homes once 8 weeks old.

“He’s the sweetest boy. It breaks my heart to rehome him, but I can’t give him the attention he needs while trying to fix my life. He has a ton of energy, always wants someone to throw a ball to him. He’s never tried to run off if he goes outside without a leash. So far, he hasn’t tried chasing any wild animals, or the neighborhood ducks. He isn’t neutered. He’s good with dogs of all sizes and cats.”

This sweet boy is Rollie!

Rollie is a lovable fluff ball with a gorgeous thick coat. He is 14 weeks old. He will be a beautiful cat. He’s super sweet, purring machine, biscuit maker, and affectionately meows at you. He’s the sweetest kitten ever and very soft. He’s like a ragdoll when you hold him, very floppy and squishy. Rollie is great with other cats, dogs, and kids.

Adopted!!

Meet Forest! The cutest little doodle/poodle/heinz 57 mix puppy.

Forest is about 5 months old now. Him and his siblings & mother were surrendered to us a few weeks ago for no fault of their own. Everyone has been adopted except for Forest.

They were terrified upon arrival, didn’t know what was happening and why. Would scream when being touched, p*e, cry, and throw up. But they adjusted great and are doing wonderful now.

Forest is very submissive, sweet as can be and playful. He loves giving kisses and to follow you around.

He is potty trained, kennel trained, and pre-spoiled. UTD on vaccinations and ready to be adopted. He needs a patient home who can provide lots of time, training, and love.

The only girl in her litter, she is super spunky.
Also about half the size of everyone else, very petite. She has the cutest little round face and softest, almost inaudible meow. She likes to lay on your feet and prevent you from walking. Rosie is 12 weeks old and waiting for her forever home. She is great with other cats, dogs, and kids.

Sweet Mocha.

Mocha was born April 28th, his mother is a beautiful Siamese, Dulce(also available for adoption). He is now 15 weeks old and yet to find his forever home. He watched all his siblings get adopted into wonderful families and is patiently waiting for his turn. Mocha has a gorgeous jet black coat and the sweetest personality. He loves to jump around and play with the others. When you talk to him he gives you the cutest little head tilt. He is great with other cats, dogs, and kids.

Baby Hank went to West Park Veterinary Services this morning for his skin issues. They did tests and found that he has a bacterial infection from hookworm parasites and ringworm. On the other hand, Hunky Hank is a healthy lil chunk of a puppy who is VERY vocal and eats like a horse. He is being quarantined and we have to be very careful not to allow the ringworm to spread to anyone else, including us. Which means we can’t love on and kiss his smushy face as we normally would. ☹️Please wish a fast and safe recovery for our lil man Hank! ❤️

UPDATE: Transport found. He is safe.

SOS. This baby needs help ASAP.

He was found under a house by a good samaritan. His mother left him and his siblings behind, he is the only survivor. The finder cannot keep. He is approximately 2-3 weeks old. A chunky lab mix pup. We need help getting him here. He is currently in Oakdale (about 3 hrs away from us). We need to get him to Houma. Finder can meet in Lafayette. If you can volunteer your time to transport and save a life, please PM us!!!!

Meet Penny, Wilbur, Forest, and Benjamin! The cutest little doodle/poodle/heinz 57 mixes. Suspected breeds are Bichon, Havanese, and Poodle.

Penny is mother of all 3 boys. (Accidental litter from previous owner) She is only about a year old. The puppies are 16 weeks old. They were surrendered to us a few weeks ago for no fault of their own.

They were terrified upon arrival, didn’t know what was happening and why. Would scream when being touched, p*e, cry, and throw up. But they adjusted great and doing wonderful now.

Adopted!!

Dulce De Leche is still waiting for her forever home. She has had people back out multiple times.

She is a beautiful 1 yr old Seal Point Siamese born April 10th with the biggest and brightest blue eyes.

We found Dulce lying in bushes and eating trash in the parking lot of PJs Coffee late at night a few months ago. After asking homes nearby if they knew her, they said she had been there for a while and assumed she was a stray. We couldn't leave her there pregnant and hungry. She purred on my lap the whole way home. We searched for her owner knowing she wasn't just a stray, putting up "found" ads on facebook and websites. We had eventually found her previous owner, but were then told to "keep her". She had a nasty cut under her chin that eventually healed up with some medical care and was covered in fleas and filled with intestinal parasites. Dulce is the absolute sweetest cat ever. Constantly purring, making biscuits, and rubbing on your legs asking to be loved on. She enjoys sitting on window sills and gazing out the window. Dulce is okay with other cats and dogs(with proper introduction) as long as they give her space. She likes to be on her own. She needs a loving and safe home to live out the rest of her life where she will not have to worry about surviving outside or being a mother to anymore litters of kittens.

Little Crème and Macchiato are STILL waiting for their forever home. Their adoption unfortunately fell through once again.

CRÈME~ A spitting image of his mother. They even have the same personality. He is very talkative and the most cuddly out the batch. His sleek beautiful seal point coat will get darker as he ages. Crème is a Benefactor kitten.

MACCHIATO ~ This boy is the largest out of the batch. He is always jumping around and loves to play with shoelaces. He conquers the cat tower and is the only one who willingly climbs to the top and attempts to jump all the way down. He is a little daredevil and not afraid of anything. He is also a very sweet boy and is cuddly once he has let all his energy out.

Since getting their shots, they have been enjoying spending time outside basking in the sun.

We would love for them to be adopted together, they have been bonding a lot lately and do everything together.
Plus, two kittens are better than one, for a lot of reasons!

UPDATE: Transport covered & foster found!❤️

URGENT TRANSPORT OR TEMP FOSTER NEEDED‼️

These kittens just made 6 weeks old. There are six of them. Their current foster needs them gone by tomorrow morning and cannot get them to us. We just returned from vacation a few hours ago and one of us has covid. We are also dealing with Coccidia. If you can transport or take these babies in temporarily PLEASE message us.📍Kittens are in Prairieville. Need to get them to us in Houma.

Finding a new foster would be best. We don't want to risk these babies being exposed to the Coccidia .

He gave us a scare as a newborn. He had some respiratory issues and a very swollen and limp leg. At the vet, he was prescribed antibiotics and we were told that he may need the leg amputated at 6 weeks old. Luckily it has healed over the course of a few weeks and he is a healthy boy now. Crème is a Benefactor kitten.
