🙅🏼‍♀️Just a friendly reminder that I can not groom a dog with fleas 🙅🏼‍♀️

I cast no judgement when the dogs do have fleas bc it happens I totally get that! But I can not take the chance of my 9 animals getting them or my clients getting them from here.

Just had to send home another one

Last week I groomed one bc the dog needed my help and I couldn't turn him away. However I did have to charge the client for flea bombs for garage and cancel my next apt for the day then deep clean garage. It's quite a task

Vet flea pills are the only thing that works and we are still in the midst of flea season

He came to see me today for his first puppy trim and he was a sweet baby wiggle worm!!🐛 but omg his cuteness made up for it! Couldn't get a picture at all of this cute baby so his mommy sent me one when he got home

Update on 🌸Flower🌸

🌸I have talked to my husband and we decided to keep her

🌸I just can't fathom her going somewhere and being mistreated while she is already so loved here

🌸she adores being held and snuggled

🌸she is perfect with her litter box!

🌸last night she gave me kisses for the first time

🌸she is eating and drinking good now and takes treats from our hands

That is all ♥️ she is mine forever ♥️

🇺🇸Remember some babies handle tonight better than others.

🇺🇸If your dog takes anxiety meds keep them close and give it early enough to kick in.

🇺🇸If you don't have anxiety meds and your babies having a hard time you can put cotton balls in their ears and a headband or scarf to help muffle the sounds, play some music or cartoons and snuggle them close!

Such a sad sad day today...

Please send prayers for the Bollinger family as they had to lay their fur baby to rest.

My sweet sweet Wrigley... my Little Pawpaw, I called him. Wrigley was 17 years old and he lived as long as his body would let him. I believe nothing but love carried Wrigley this far in age. He had amazing parents that loved him incredibly much. Being a part of this dogs life has truly been a blessing, my only regret is I didn't know him sooner so I could love him longer.

I'm gonna miss my Little Pawpaw!

Sending big hugs to Mr. Craig and his wife Mrs. D'lyn. Yall will always be in my prayers ♥️

This precious boy is the SWEETEST lab! I do another lab from Rowan's family and that baby girl is equally as sweet. They have the exact same spot they stick their nose in when in the tub for their baths and they have the exact same personalities when getting their nails grinded lol

🌸Update on Flower🌸

🌸She is still extremely skittish but absolutely loves to be cuddled!

🌸She is getting spayed and vaccinated with the help of BunnAgain Rabbit Rescue on June 17.

🌸I have started litter training her which she seems to be slowly catching on.

🌸She still freaks out for noises and movements but she is so inquisitive and I can see she will be so playful when she is ready.

🌸She loves lettuce and treats. Especially banana! And is slowly starting to eat hay.

🌸After her spay she will stay with me to recover for the 8-12 weeks it takes for her hormones to settle. Then she will be ready for her forever home with humans that actually love her and care for her instead of just tossing her outside after lord knows what kind of life they provided for her😢

🌸Everyday we have our cuddle sessions and I love being able to help her 'blossom' into the sweet and cared for bunny she deserves to be🩷

Meet my newest rescue....

🌸Flower 🌸

🌸Sunday I was tagged in a post to go help this baby found in someone's yard. Me and the finder was able to capture her so I could get her to safety.

🌸About 90% sure it's a girl. She has floppy ears which you can't tell in the picture bc she is terrified of everything. No telling how long she was on her own for. 😢

🌸I will be bringing her to the vet and get her vaccinations done and a health check up and I am slowly getting her used to gentle touches and being held.

🌸Her diet isn't the best right now so we are working on that as well.

🌸She will be available for rehoming when I feel she is ready. Could be weeks or months. However long it takes her to trust people.

🌸If anyone is interested I will have a checklist for potential adopters.

🌸I will NOT give her to any one that plans on keeping her outside or in a small enclosure. I will require her area set up first and pictures provided before I let her leave my arms.

🌸Bunnies are not for everyone and they do require a lot of care. I can answer any questions anyone has if interested. I have 3 indoor bunnies and they are perfect!

🌸She will need to be spayed by an exotic vet which isn't cheap. I will help with the spay cost but can not cover it all. I will NOT release her to a breeder and will do vet checks as well.

🌸Someone, someplace will be the perfect home for this sweet baby and I can tell she will be a cuddle bunny when she's ready 🩷

🌸I will be providing pictures and updates on her as she progresses in my care for anyone interested and if anyone wants to come meet her in person see if she is the one for you then please feel welcomed to do so!

🌸I personally wish I could keep her. But I would like to help her find a good home so I can open my own home back up to the next baby that needs to be rescued. There is always so many that need help 😢

With a heavy heart.. one of my clients need to rehome her dog Skye for her health... She is a purebred Shihtzu.. absolutely loves people.. love to snuggle and gets along with other animals... she is asking a rehoming fee for her bc she wants to make sure she goes to a loving home...

🚨 Fundraiser 🚨

I am doing a fundraiser for my one of my sweet Bunnies if anyone would like to participate 🙏🏼

💙I rescued Jax in January after learning he lived outside in a dog house for 4 years. When I got him he was covered in ear mites and was not eating hay or veggies. Hay is 90% a bunnies healthy diet. I asked the owners if they would rehome him to me and they agreed so we got him Jan 3. When I first got him he was drinking his own p*e which the vet told me he should stop after realizing he now will always have access to fresh water.
I have him on a healthy diet and he now loves his hay and fresh veggies! He's such a little gremlin when he gets his daily veggie bowl and always dives in for his tiny piece of fruit 🥹 truly the cutest thing! Vet said it was amazing he was still alive but I know it's bc he was meant to be mine 💙

I have been dealing with an ear issue for him since February. I have been to the exotic vet 3 times so far, tried two rounds of antibiotics and inflammation meds and am applying a sulfate cream twice a day and am going back Thursday to his exotic vet in Metairie. This once so sweet bunny came to me everytime he heard my voice for cuddles. But his ear has been hurting him so bad he flinches when I touch him and was having trouble standing it up and he is now hesitate to come to me. 😭

Last week, he had to get his ear lanced and drained under anesthesia which is so risky for bunnies bc they are so sensitive to it and some die under anesthesia. The vet did a culture. Culture results came back today inconclusive. Vet said this can sometimes happen with a more internal bacteria infection. So he recommends a round of daily injections for a week. Injections which will also have to be given under anesthesia and I have to go back to the vet Thursday in Metairie.

So to help raise some funds to get this sweet baby healthy I am baking fresh dog treats this Sunday! They will be $5 a small bag and $10 for a large. I used to make these and give them out when I first started grooming and the dogs loved them!!

Every $5 purchase will be entered into a drawing for June 1 to receive $20 off a grooming service (full groom, tidy up, or bath)

If you would like to donate toward his vet bill but skip out on treats you can do that as well and every $5 will still be entered into the drawing!

❤️Just title it 'Jax' if you want to just donate and 'Jax/Treats' if you want the treats

I am attaching my Venmo and cash app. Which most my clients have. Or Zelle is fine if you use that with me. If you prefer cash on pick up just text me so I know to set you a bag aside as well!

Treats will be handed out this Sunday between 2-4pm and baked fresh that morning. Must come pick them up from me❤️

If anyone can help me get this baby healthy it's greatly appreciated. I did not rescue him to not have this sweet bunny 100% healthy and happy. I love him so much!

Just a reminder to check your dogs before coming (and for their own well being) I am becoming aware of dogs that are on a vet flea pill and still having fleas. These little pests must becoming immune to the pill 😩 if your dog is itching even on the flea pill they may still have fleas. My friend is also a groomer and had the same issue with her client.

If I spot fleas I CAN NOT take the dog in or I will stop a groom and send home

We are dealing with super fleas this year ☹️

Just a friendly reminder as flea season is upon us and sure to be a bad one

That I will stop a groom and send a dog home if I spot fleas! I have 8 animals and groom and board all day all the time, flea out breaks are a nightmare for me 😩

All boarding is private so your baby is not in contact with any other boarders. If they get along with my own animals they hang out in the house with us 🩷
