Snow days are some of the best! We are probably some of the few with a farm and livestock that'll say it but the snow isn't too bad and love the fun and beauty it brings. The animals all have warm beds of straw 2 feet deep in all shelters and barns, hay in front of them 24/7 and the horses are wrapped in blankets (we were switching them here and they were running around before new ones were put on). The horses enjoy the snow, rolling and running and playing together. If it's going to be cold it might as well be beautiful❄️

Nothing brings smiles quite like a festive pony at Christmas! Roo visited the residents of The Barclay at Midlothian today and brought all the Christmas cheer to both the residents and staff!

REMINDER.....our farm is STRICTLY by appointment only. It is on all of our social media, Google and our website that you must have a previous reservation to come. We have signs lining our driveway stating this and gates and we continue to have people come in. We have even had to put cameras up. Appointments have been changed to only seasonal when we open up times for them (i.e. Christmas on the Farm) to try to eliminate this. We want to stay open and welcome people to our farm and love on our animals, but we are constantly having vehicles ignore all instructions and signs and come onto the property anyway. It is very uncomfortable for us to see cars on our cameras when we aren't even there despite all of our efforts to avoid it. We are asking everyone to please respect that this is our home. If you would like to visit send message, call, text or email but please do not just show up at any hour. We are looking forward to having many more families visit!

Our favorite time of year is quickly approaching, countdown for 2024 Christmas on the Farm has officially begun!! We are beginning preparations with plans to announce available dates and times by the beginning of November.

Despite major set up location issues, an equine medical emergency and a storm destroying our set up we made it through three days at Field Day! Thank you to all who supported us, other vendors who helped us with storm clean up and those that were there during our horse troubles. All in all it was a success and all of our animals, including the horses, are doing just fine❤️

*Yes, we lowered our canopies to the ground but it didn't matter, they were destroyed along with many other vendor's.
