Update on Weaning Process
Day 1- Trigger is either sleep deprived or mad at me. Honestly it’s probably a bit of both 😂😂
Cleaning their outside pen for poop this morning and he didn’t not want to move so I could sweep that area up 😂😂😂
It rained yesterday so don’t mind the mud and dirt on him he prefers to be dirty lol

Lol Buster didn’t even touch Whisper he was just being dramatic 😂😂😂 these 2 are trully best friends they are always pestering each other!!!
Whisper is already enjoying spending time with Maple Hollows Rems Golden Command. Trigger is such a good stud and could care less lol except when Whisper is trying to jump all over him to play lol. Then he usually just goes into his shelter and eats 😂😂 Stallions get a bad wrap for attitude but this little stud sure acts like a gelding and he definitely passes it on to his colts because Whisper has been the best baby ever with good attitudes and minds and they learn pretty quickly !!!

Whisper has been full of spunk and attitude since day 1.
Yesterday was his first Trim ever by the farrier and he did quite well… a couple times he did try to jump up but it was all new to him and I expected way worse for the first time but once he settled down he did great!!
He’s a good baby who enjoys all the attention. His favorite thing is being brushed with the curry comb and getting on his moms nerves (Izzy). He is finally shedding his foal coat. Nightly Brushings have definitely helped with thinning out his coat in hopes the rest just will be able to shed out and be brushed off. He is such a cute little Appy Buckskin with a good mind so hopefully training down the road will go smoothly cause he does have some spice ✨.
It’s been raining the last 2 days but the horses still have to go out and exercise.
Our Minis are on Dry lots 24/7 which helps them maintain their food intake and off grass to prevent founder among other things….. with them being on a dry lot when it rains it becomes mud ….oh well at least they had fun getting muddy (it will be washed off) and were able to be outside 😅😅😅

Our sweet Indy found his forever home!!! We will miss his little nose boops here on our farm!!!
He’s is ✨THRIVING✨already in his new home!! He’s been learning to drive and took a trip to school for Ag Day!!! So glad he found a great home and is making a wonderful little mini for his new family!!! He sure has a bright future ahead of him!! We will forever love this little guy ❤️!!!
