With Easter only 2 days away, we wanted to share a few Easter pet safety tips for your pets, as well as our holiday hours:

1. If swallowed, fake plastic grass can cause serious intestinal blockages that may require surgery. Make sure to keep Easter baskets out of reach.
2. Opt to give your pet their favorite treat vs sharing your Easter feast to try and avoid vomiting, diarrhea, or pancreatitis.
3. Make sure to find all of the fake and/or real eggs hidden. No pet wants a plastic egg foreign body or upset stomach from a rotten egg.
4. Easter candy/treats, especially Chocolate, are a big NO for pets. Keep baskets out of reach to avoid the temptation.
5. Most lilies are extremely toxic to cats. If you have a cat, it's best to not have any lilies in your house. as they can cause rapid kidney failure. Some lilies are toxic to dogs too. While they are lovely to look at, not worth the damage they can cause to our furry friends.
