Welcome to 2024 and our "Share the Love" program!

It's super simple! If you are a current client here and you refer a friend or family member to us and they become a client - you both win! Your friend and our new client will get $25 off their first visit and you will get $25 off your next visit!

Remember - this only works if your referral is a NEW client. It doesn't count if they have been here before!

Simply tell us when you come in that you are either being referred through the "Share the Love" program (and who referred you) or let us know that you have referred someone (and who they are)!

The New Year is just a few days away! Here are our top pet safety tips so you can welcome in 2024 as safely as pawsible:

-Keep all pets indoors
-Make sure pets have an ID and are chipped
-Keep human food and alcohol away from your pet, and relay to any guests of this as well
-Keep your pet in a cozy area with music or a TV on. These sounds help to drown out any party noises and/or fireworks.

Spread positive New Year vibes by sharing this post! 🎉

We don’t treat horses here at the clinic, but since it’s National Day of the Horse, we couldn’t let the lovely equines that belong to our staff go without their recognition!

Did you know that most pets see muted colors?

While dogs can’t see the same array of colors that humans can, they can discern between yellow and blue (making them red-green color blind).

When choosing your pet’s holiday gift this year, maybe opt for a yellow or blue toy! 🔵

Our pets’ physical exams provide a lot of information on heart, lung, eye, and ear health, but what about what’s going on inside?

Performed at least once a year, blood work panels help us assess your pet’s overall health. Diagnostic labs give us an inside look at how your pet’s liver and kidneys are functioning and help track any changes in their health.

As we are ending Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week, we’d like to say thank you to our vet techs at Corban Vet.

Brittany and Alyssa are our two Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
Grace and Lacie are currently in LVT school.

Aleta, Michele, Joyce, Regan, Hannah, Skylar, and Emma make up our wonderful Assistant tech team.

They come to work, day in and day out, to care for your pets. We wish you could see what we see behind the scenes - the catheter placements, medication administration, and intensive care of critical patients. The sadness for a pet that we lose despite our best efforts (it hurts us too), the smiles for a sick pet that has recovered and gets to go home - it’s up and down all day!

Our technicians are a central core component of the care your pets receive. They get stressed running and monitoring anesthesia, assisting in difficult surgeries, and caring for critical cases every day. They start out in clean scrubs and by the end of the day usually have more hair on them than the patients do, and a number of unmentionable body fluids.

Heaven knows the doctors keep them busy running lab work and with the never ending task of keeping the clinic clean.

Despite the stress and the long hours - all of our technicians, at their core, enjoy and love what they do. We at Corban Vet are thankful to have such an amazing and caring tech team - remember to tell them thank you not just this week, but every day!
