Certified Jane Savoie Instructor/Trainer. Jane Savoie is a world re-known dressage competitor and equestrian coach.

About: Sandy Myers has been involved with horses since the age of 6, helping out at a local barn to get all the experience she could. Throughout her 30+ year career with horses, she has worked with local horsewoman Mary Ellen Dickinson, Nancy B. Hall (USEF "R" judge), and Olympians Greg Best & Anne Kursinksi as well as the former Olympian & current Chef d'Equipe of the USET Teams - George Morri

s. She is currently being mentored by Jane Savoie and has recently earned her Level I Instructors Certification from the Jane Savoie Dressage Academy. Former 4-H member and 4-H Horse Science Team Coach, Sandy has been involved with many equine associations:
• United States Equestrian Federation (USEF)
• United States Dressage Federation (USDF)
• Arabian Horse Association (AHA)
• American Quarter horse Association (AQHA)
• American Paint Horse Association (APHA)

She is a current member of the USDF, USEF, AHA, and Dressage Mentors. Sandy has experience showing from local and 4-H levels up to A-rated shows as well as National Breed shows. She is a disciplined competitor, whether she is in the hunter ring, on a jumper or in the dressage arena. She has competed her home-bred-home-raised Anglo-Arabian stallion, WR Luninaire, to two Top Fives, one Regional Championship title and one East Coast Championship title in the AHA. In summer 2014, Sandy will be hitting the show circuit again and will be happy to take along students or meet you at the shows. What we do: We offer lessons at our farm or yours, on your mount with our Jane Savoie Certified trainer. Showing and Clinics are also available with our instructor, Sandy Myers. She is willing to travel!

Today we lost a wonderful lady. Cimi spend 19 years with us (made it gracefully to the age of 36) she was a kind and caring step mom to orphaned foals and a babysitter to my own children. We will miss her greatly.

Some hay is fluffy and light, and weighs little; other hay is densely packed and weighs more than expected. So, it’s best to find a portable scale of some kind—a fishing scale is an easy-to-find solution—and measure several flakes from different bales, carefully noting each weight.

Sorry I have not been very active on here as we know running a farm does not leave much time for yourself. Today I must say was AWESOME! Great bonding work with Twomur (aka WR Luminaire), nothing beats a long walk in the woods with plenty of obstacles to figure out to remind both of you how strong that bond of trust really is. We then came back to the ring for great extended work in absolute relaxation and trust!
