This last week our social media group has a loss. You may or may not know, but social media is made up of seven ladies who care passionately about German Shorthaired Pointers. They care about the standard, about the versatility, about their temperament, about their ability to do what they were bred to do, but most passionately about their health. Health testing, knowing and STUDYING your pedigrees, asking a lot of uncomfortable questions of breeders and legacy breeders…. Please, at the end of this year, consider donating to the AKC Canine Health Foundation. Their fund donates to studies that affect our breed, including hemangiosarcoma, epilepsy and Addison’s disease.
