I forgot to post my picture for National Pet day yesterday. I don't know how I ended up with all grey/black and white animals. Total accident not on purpose. Tina and Timmie baby bostons, Mortie boston mix, Tank bull dog mix, Finn cat, and Ferrie Bear ferrets.
Today was hard. This is probably the last time I groom Maggie. I've groomed her over the past 14 years. She has heart failure and she's been declining rapidly. Like Maggie the cutie in the hat, Dollar, I started grooming them when I opened my salon in 2009. Dollar passed in late July. Then my grandparents poodle Lexie passed away a couple weeks ago. I've been grooming her for 13 years.
I love what I do and I really get attached to all the furbabies I groom. I gave Maggie so many kisses and told her what a good girl she is. I've had the pleasure of grooming so many furbabies over the years these 3 especially have a special place in my heart they were so perfect.
My sister, dad and me all have Multiple Sclerosis. My sister Karen and me attended the I ride with MS social tonight. We are gearing up for the MS150 in April of 2023. If you'd like to donate please click the link below. When I was diagnosed in January 2013 there weren't that many MS medications out. Now there are atleat 23. We both started Kesimpta last year and are doing great on it! It was made possible by fundraising with these bike rides! The National MS Society is a great charity that really helps you out when you get diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. They have programs that I have directly benefited from!

I know this is my business page I typically leave politics out of business but I want to share some of my life story. It's a long one and I don't even cover all the things that took place over the 3 years that this happened.
I had 2 ectopic pregnancies in 2012. They were both wanted pregnancies. Had abortions been illegal then I'd likely would have died. Both fetuses had heartbeats. Each had to be aborted because each were growing in my tubes.
We wanted them very much the first one ruptured my right tube I was bleeding internally. I had no idea I just walked 3 miles the day before. I felt fine no pain. I had gotten my routine ultrasound it revealed it was in my tube. I was around 10-11 weeks gestation. I was rushed immediately into surgery!!! Like immediately!! It was life or death!!
The 2nd time I thought I was miscarrying because I had started bleeding. Met my ob in the hospital ER the ultrasound tech and my doctor couldn't tell if the fetus was in my tube or uterus. I'm over weight so ultrasounds aren't as precise plus my uterus is tilted at a weird angle. Plus early in pregnancy it's hard to tell. This time I was around 6-8 weeks gestation. My doctor took me into surgery for a d and c but did not find the fetus there. Unfortunately the fetus was in my left tube.
Had my doctor had to wait, be hesitant or too afraid of prosecution to do these surgeries or wait for there to be no heartbeat I wouldn't be here today!!!
There is absolutely NOTHING YOU CAN DO to save the fetus when it's growing in the fallopian tube!!
We had to do IVF to get pregnant since I had no tubes left. I got pregnant a 3rd time the fetus which we knew was a boy named Andrew Guy Hemphill stopped growing and his heart stopped around 17 weeks gestation. My ob suggested I have a d & c because I had physically been thru so much and having him at home would of been mentally traumatic for me. At the hospital I had to sign that I was having an abortion. He was very much wanted. I'm glad I had that option to go into the hospital. Lil Andy although so loved was not a baby yet. It was my choice to have the d&c. I was not made to go deliver at home! Not to get too graphic but I would have had to deliver a 17 week gestational old fetus Lil Andy that died in my womb who was very much wanted, after having two unimaginable losses that resulted in me being sterile. Plus the fact this was our third round of IVF. I forgot to add I had a fibroid tumor blocking my uterus. That's why the embryos could never make it from my tubes into my uterus. I had surgery to have that removed. After I had the tumor removed that's when I ended up getting pregnant with Lil Andy. I had been through it. So there was no way I was going to put myself and Andy (my husband) through the heart ache of delivering at home. I HAD A CHOICE THEN back in 2014 to do that to go into the hospital and have my doctor perform an abortion.
What about the kids and people who are r***d and molested? What about the people who've made a mistake and can't afford another baby or don't have the support? What about those fetuses that have medical issues life would be too miserable for the baby or the parents? What about the people who have health problems before or during pregnancy that's life threatening?
There are endless possibilities that's why it's not the governments or anyone elses choice.
You don't like abortions fine don't have one.
That's your choice!
I hope none of you who are against abortion have to go thru all the things I have or have a friend or loved one go thru all the things I've endured and not have a choice in the matter.
Having a choice kept me alive in January and December of 2012!!
I am so very lucky I had a choice then and that my doctor had the choice without hesitation or fear to treat me.
I think people have the right to choose. That's why I vote the way I vote.
I think my friends and family of the LGBTQ community need to keep their marriage rights and be treated as equals. That's why I vote the way I vote!
I think my family and friends of different races have the right to be treated as humans and as equals. That's why I vote the way I vote!
I know I won't change anyone's mind out there but for those who don't usually vote and believe in abortion rights and equal rights the time to vote is now!!! I urge you to vote this week. You can vote anywhere in Harris county this week as long as you are a registered voter with a valid ID. This vote is for local elections not presidential. Your vote truly matters right now it directly affects us living in Texas or wherever you may live!

training in January to ride in the Houston BIKEMS ride. It rained out so we went to Dallas to ride in their ride this past weekend. We liked it so much we signed up for the San Antonio ride in October. Rides like this have helped with research and help provide us with multiple medications. He has a high maintenance coat like all doodles but we would have to have extra grooming too if we had all that hair! 😄 🤣 His parents have spent many hours training him to be this well behaved!! 😍

We don't just groom long haired dogs. We do short haired pets as well.
Giving them a good scrub with shampoo and conditioner. brush out, nails clipped and filed, ears cleaned, a**l glands expressed if needed and teethbrushing.
