Andrea really would like to find her forever home
Introducing Enzo
📣Enzo has been adopted!!
Meet our newest available pup for adoption-Enzo! 🐾
This pup had been through a lot at a young age. He was brought into a family who decided he was too much and put him outdoors. A family member rescued him and reached out to Straight Outta Texas for assistance. We stepped up to make sure Enzo ended up with a perfect family.
Enzo is a 16 week old, golden retriever mix. As with most retrievers he is high energy and loves to get into mischief. Enzo would do well with an active family that gives him lots of activities, jobs, and mental stimulation. He also will dance on his hind legs, so will enjoy being trained for tricks. In true typical retriever behavior, Enzo loves anything wet, even if it’s a little romp through the mud. 🐾🐾
Enzo is currently being fostered in TX and is looking for his forever home in CT, ME, NH, VT, NY, or NJ.

Update on Stoli:
So far, she is maintaining. Her body temp and blood pressure is all good. She is maintaining that on her own. Her blood sugar is low but that’s to be expected since she hasn’t eaten. They’re going to start feeding her through the tube now. So even though she’s still got a long road to face, she is improving. Every little bit of positivity means something.
Please continue helping us support her on this journey 🐾

Stoli ♥️ We just got the call from the vet…. and they confirmed the P word that we never want to hear.
Parvo💔
She’s very sick and weak but Vergi 24/7 is starting her on a G-tube, antibiotics, giving her a blood transfusion & plasma if needed.
The doctor told us that she is nervous about this case because of how weak Stoli is upon arrival.
Stoli has 5 other siblings in the home that are now going to be started on fluids and meds as well.
Their foster is amazing and left work as soon as we told her what was going on so that she can start treatment for the others and we are hopeful that they will not start showing any symptoms!

Lilith & her babies have just arrived at Vergi 24/7. The babies will be checked out as a precaution since one of the babies isn’t as active as the other 2.
Lilith is 42 lbs and extremely underweight. They are starting her off with IV’s, pain meds and then we will get radiographs of the damage done from being hit by the car.
We will keep everyone updated as we get information.
Any donations to her care can be called in directly to a vergi at 713-932-9589

We just took on an emergency medical case out of Huffman Texas. A brand new mama dog was hit by a car and has been laying at a feed store for a couple of days now, unable to move around much while trying to nurse her newborn babies. Two wonderful volunteers have stepped up to help transport her and her babies to safety!
She is currently in route to Vergi 24/7 animal hospital.
If you would like to help out with her medical care, you can donate directly to Vergi at 713-932-9589
Her name is ❤️Lilith❤️ and she is under Straight Outta Texas Rescue

Y’all remember our almost $15,000 parvo puppies?
Well, the nightmare is over and even though it didn’t end exactly how we wanted it to.. here’s an update.
Meet Alice, our miracle girl who pulled through 💕
To say it’s been a challenging week, is quite an understatement.
Taking in the 4 parvo puppies that were dumped at a store has been a huge hit on SOT. As of now, we’ve spent around $15,000 trying to save them… and you know what makes It even harder is when you shell out all these funds, you approve all the treatments, you pray with everything you’ve got... and you still lose.
We have lost 3 of the 4 puppies. It’s been exhausting and it’s been heart wrenching but our 1 remaining little girl is currently being moved to a recovery home where she is expected to fully heal from this terrible virus 🤞🏼
It’s a bittersweet moment for us here at SOT. We are sad that nothing we did was enough to save her 3 siblings but we are so thankful that she will now be able to live and flourish in a forever home of her own one day. A home that she would have never had if we didn’t step up and take the beating for them.
I want to thank our team. Our volunteers, fosters & supporters for every post shared and every donation made. Without y’all, we would not be a rescue. We still have a really long way to go to pay off all of these medical bills but with y’all by our side, we will recover. You are what continues to save these dogs. YOU.
We couldn’t do this without each and every one of you.
Kaki 💕
Oh sweet girl, you are such a light to everyone you encounter!
If y’all remember, Kaki was paralyzed & scooting her way around the back roads & woods in Cleveland, Tx. She had been out there for months and It took our team weeks to FINALLY catch her. We raised the funds for her surgery and now we are trying to raise the funds for her continued therapy. Cuddly recently did a wonderful story on her.
If you would, check It out and help us continue raising money for her therapy.

She is going to make an amazing addition to someone’s family one day.
