Anyone willing to foster this sweet boy, Hunter? He is good with cats, kids, and dogs. He’s hanging out at work right now and is very well behaved. He was being attacked by 3 street dogs. Finder saved him and took him to the vet, but cannot keep him. Please help us save Hunter!

Meet Donny 🐶

Donny is an adorable 1.5 year old, 45 lb, Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is full of fun, happy energy and love. Just by looking at his cute face, you can tell he's a friendly, loyal, and affectionate companion. He loves to play, explore, and make new friends, whether they're human or canine.

A volunteer found Donny with his small k9 buddy Chico wandering the harsh streets of Houston and dodging cars. We assume they were dumped because they had no street smarts and are just too sweet.

Donny is an active dog and would be perfect for an owner who is looking for a playful and fun companion. He's also very smart and curious, and he'll keep you entertained for hours. He's a sweet boy who loves to cuddle up with his humans and snooze away after play time 🙂

Donny is a wonderful dog who is just waiting to find his forever home. He would be perfect for a home who is looking for a furry friend to add love, laughter, and fun to their lives. He is great with other dogs and humans, and loves to meet & make new friends.

All it takes is to make one simple mistake and you end up going to the damn emergency room…bandIt was upset and I should’ve exercised more caution when I went to get him away from the other dog’s kennel, but he was super worked up and when I put my hand on his collar, he just assumed I was another dog and let me have it…VA ER here I come… I bet you a dollar they make note of the fact that in my chart there’s several previous visits for dog bites

I didn’t realize it, but we are almost out of kibble. I saw several bags in the garage, but they are for puppies. We have a large food pick up from the SPCA in a few weeks, but in the meantime, we’re going to be running pretty low… really low… my bad for waiting for the last minute, but things are always moving so fast. I don’t keep up with stuff as good as I should. Can somebody please help us out with some kibble?

Rhino is a handsome 5 year old, 70 lb Staffordshire Terrier with a heart the size of Texas. Rhino lives to please his people. In fact, he thinks he’s a certified lap dog!

Meet Blanche 🐶

Blanche is absolutely the sweetest, most quiet and loving girl around. She has never met anyone she didn’t want to hang around.

Blanche was found heavily pregnant on the side of the road by a couple of Good Samaritans passing through Houston. We couldn’t bear the thought of her giving birth alone on the streets.

Poor Blanche gave birth at the rescue and lost all of her babies. She is so nurturing to the other dogs and longs for a baby to care for.

Meet Roscoe 🐶

How can you ever say no to that face?! This guy has the sweetest eyes, and a personality to match. He loves to cuddle and get kisses.

Roscoe has not had an easy start to life. He was rescued from a chain in someone’s yard. He looked so sad and he was not being taken care of, so we negotiated with his owners to give him to the rescue.

Finally, he is ready for his forever home. One where he gets to be a real member of the family.

Roscoe is a 4 month old, 20 lb Bull Terrier mix.

In a heartening turn of events, Burt and Ernie from the RGV received timely medical attention after arriving late last night, and are now poised for a remarkable recovery. Fortunately, test results have ruled out the initial suspicion of flesh-eating bacteria. While Ernie has sustained suspected electrical burn injuries, including damaged teeth and gums, the vet is taking proactive steps to address these issues. A surgery to remove affected teeth is scheduled, with the possibility of reconstructive surgery to follow. Your support can be a powerful catalyst for change, enabling these resilient dogs to receive the care they need to truly thrive.

Ace is one of those dogs that you just absolutely have to earn his respect. He’s not going to let his guard down for you until you pass his sniff test as a matter of fact by nature he simply doesn’t like anybody until I tell him it’s OK to like them and then you have to work on maintaining that respect consistently …he is an incredible beast and I am thankful that he is my friend.
