Fur A Pawsitive Future

Fur A Pawsitive Future We focus on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in the Northside Village (77009) area of Houston, Texas. We aim to continue our work independently as a non-profit.

We also rescue stray, friendly, abandoned cats and whenever possible we help community cats with medical needs. We focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in the Northside Village area of Houston, zip code 77009. Over the course of 2 years we have spayed and neutered over 450 cats through sponsored spay/neuter programs. We also seek to care for sick and injured feral cats. We also fundraise to try and transport healthy, friendly street cats out of the Houston area and on to good homes.

Gotta answer the call of the village 🫢🏻😻 Mom and her 2 babies are secured 😻

A home we stumbled upon a few months ago, would have ended up with 30 cats and more dogs. Only 3 were TNR'd back to the house while the rest were adopted or sent with other rescues.

Thanks to our rescue village we were also able to get the dogs at this home spayed and neutered today while the puppies were enrolled with our friends at Berg Foster Life

We had to wait an extra day to get access to the place to set traps, but we got these babies and their mama tonight. Just in time before the temps dip to 40 in Houston tonight.

This sweet girl is in our care now while we network her to a rescue.
Please turn your pets into an animal shelter if you feel you have no other choice, anything else is animal cruelty.

This girl is on her second litter according to locals. Well this is her last now that we've spotted her. Will set out to trap the family tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates

These 3 we trapped at Church's Chicken on Halloween weekend are not appreciating our hospitality. They are a little too wild for an indoor life. So TNR it is.

We know they have a dedicated feeder. We met the lady at 11.45pm on the weekend putting out food for them.

Less stressful lives on the other side of this clinic visit kiddos 😻

Halloween evening spent trapping at an infamous dump site β€” Church's Chicken.

We did get the teen tonight too 😸

A few new cats showed up at this colony so our friends reached out for help β€” particularly for the dude with mange. He'll get neutered and treated.

Mange is easy to treat, but can cause a lot of suffering if it goes untreated.
