Good updates for todayl We finally met someone in charge and exchanged information and were given the time we need to get the cats trapped and out of there, phew!
We also learned that the pest control company did trap some cats, but they released them right there!! Another win!
The raccoons we found with mange were taken to @wildlifecenteroftexas
We'll take all the little wins we can get to get these cats safely out of here and into their new outdoor homes.

Can't get enough of the love that oozes out of this guy Valentino. He's super chill and just enjoys all the love and affection when you check in on him. He will head butt you for love ❤️
He survived the horrors of the streets of Houston. He withstood the pain and agony of an attack and multiple puncture wounds and was just lucky he crosses paths with us the night that he showed up to eat where we were tracking a mama cat and babies — it was your lucky night pal!
He will soon head to Colorado with @rescuedpetsmovement to find his forever home.

This is the 4th and final mom set we had been tracking. We suspected there were more babies, but could not get to them in the crawl space of an attic. Finally after a month, it seems like only 2 survived so we scooped up this family.
We try our best to prevent the suffering on the street, but unless feeders and owners spay and neuter and become part of the solution, this issue of unwanted, homeless kittens being born outside will not stop.
We try to educate and make people aware of the resources that are available but there's always an excuse 🤷🏻♀️ so we do what we can 🫶🏻💞
