Fur A Pawsitive Future We focus on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) in the Northside Village (77009) area of Houston, Texas. We aim to continue our work independently as a non-profit.

We also rescue stray, friendly, abandoned cats and whenever possible we help community cats with medical needs. We focus on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) in the Northside Village area of Houston, zip code 77009. Over the course of 2 years we have spayed and neutered over 450 cats through sponsored spay/neuter programs. We also seek to care for sick and injured feral cats. We also fundraise to try and transport healthy, friendly street cats out of the Houston area and on to good homes.

We're super stoked to announce that our sweet bonded mom and daughter duo, Venus and Serena, finally found an adopter willing to give them a chance.

Serena experienced two seizures during her time with us — on both occasions they occurred when she was separated from mom during vet visits. So, we knew it was imperative to keep them together.

They have waited for over a year and half with us, but we knew their person would eventually find them.

They transported to the PNW and are settling into their new home. Venus (mom) is already relaxed, Serena (daughter) is more on the shy side and will take a few to get comfortable.

We would like to thank our friends for doing all the background work to make this happen for them.

And to for the ride to Seattle since this duo needed special arrangements to travel together.

We miss them, but we know they are in good hands.

A few weeks ago we trapped a white mama cat and her 4 kittens here.

As we drove by today — headed to a different spot to trap kittens — we saw this nugget sitting in the cold and rain. Another young teen dumped, to fend for itself.

She's indoors, safe and warm and with a full belly 😻

We'll have to admit, this is our first little pile up of a quartet of white kittens — we're obsessed 🤍🤍🤍🤍

They're slowly coming out of their little shells and trusting us. Thanks to these babies will have a chance at forever homes off the streets of Houston.
