Did you know that you can start with a 8-15 foot lunge a choke collar, determinate direction, and 20 minutes a day to instill proper a proper walking/obedience foundation in any furry baby. And no you do not have to choke them, instead they will learn rather quickly to go with the tide and not against the wave on their own.

We Disagree with, Dna Testing nothing "Trumps" tradition! (www.NewWaveCaneCorso.com )

Since the Cane Corso was first sent to help the early Romans in battle, sentry duties,and estate management; many have come along to try and improve on what was already perfect.

The latest and most greatest attack on the CC breed came from science and what geneticist Dr.Karlsson would describe as corporate Greed by pushing the narrative that Dna testing "TRUMPS"Tradition. Although, Canine Dna Testing is promising as of now according to Geneticist Dr. Karlsson, "she states that while the field looks very promising, modern technology simply is not accurate enough to produce reliable results at this point in time.(occ)" To further explain traditional techniques for what has kept the CC breed so healthy let us refer to leading Authority on CC Dr.Paolo Breber when he wrote in reply to what method works in maintaining the vitality of the CC Breed.

"DR Breber : The reason why the traditional CC is so healthy in every sense is that it has come straight from the farms in south Italy. If you need the dog for work and it’s not up to its task you simply get rid of it. This is what hunters, cattle- and sheepmen do, and for their dogs there is no alternative to being healthy. One aspect of the CC I have recently come aware of. It seems that it is very long-lived for being a large dog.

Other breeds of the same size live about 10 years while the CC often reaches 15 yrs and more. This is a sure sign of health and vitality in the breed.
All this business with genetic health testing is the collateral effect of breeding for prizes at the dog shows where conformation comes before health.(Occ)"
